Venice Unleashed (VU) is the solution that will keep BF3 alive!
VU (a.k.a. Venice Unleashed) is a modding and improvement framework for Battlefield 3. It offers a variety of
features, such as the ability to host private dedicated servers, high frequency/tickrate servers, configurable
suppression and colour correction (ie. you can disable the blue tint), and extensive modding capabilities.
With it, you can join servers offering custom experiences (such as the BF3 Reality Mod) or create your own
using the modding tools.

VU is free to use for anyone who owns Battlefield 3. To get started playing VU, simply register a new account at
https://veniceunleashed.net, download VU from the VU homepage and Battlefield 3 from Origin/EA App/Steam, and
launch it from your desktop or start menu. For more information on setting up VU, you can go through the getting
started guide on the VU wiki.

BF3: Reality Mod is a Battlefield 3 modification with a focus on teamplay, communication, and combined arms. Drawing most of its inspiration from the BF2: Project Reality mod, it offers a complete gameplay and UI overhaul that creates a more tactical and in-depth experience compared to vanilla BF3. The focus moves away from racking up kills as an individual, and towards working as part of a squad, creating an environment where the player must rely on other team members. It increases the value of a single life, making you feel that - in executing a smaller piece of a bigger plan - you are contributing to your team's victory.
