Issue: When the enemy commander uses the EMP UAV all soldiers caught in its radius will get full screen blur effects every 3-5 seconds!

Why this is horrible.

1. It makes you feel sick after a while.
2. My eyeballs are not electronic why are they affected by EMP?
3. Our server has commanders most of the time on conquest small maps. You are pretty much under enemy EMP 50% of the time. Blur hell.
4. You cannot disable commanders or as we like to call the "Blurders" on official servers.

Some people try to justify this by saying EMP effects your HUD. They are wrong.. If it affected some kind of electric goggles we were wearing then only the OVERLAY would blur. I'm totally fine with my Mini map and ammo count blurring its the full screen real world blurring that's ridiculous.

TLDR: Please remove the eyeball BLUR effect from commanders EMP UAV.

Known bug.

It should be fix with the next patch I guess. Or with China Rising incoming soon.

It's not even a bug, DICE included that blur intentionally as they thought it would be ''cool' or ''awesome''

But like it's said, it's nothing more than embarassing design flaw which made players go facepalm towards DICE within reason.

It was a sad mistake by the designer who was edgy enough to let that brain fart of an idea go live in the first place.

First time I saw it I thought my videocard was broken.

It's not even blur, it's like for a splitsecond you have several overlays in different colours or something.

Not a bug apparently, but will be removed in next patch.

Now, the EMP would make some sense if the soldier's eyes were genetically engineered to be electrical in some way. But I doubt that's the case.

If anything, they should had made just the UI parts blur, not the actual whole screen.

XBOX and PS3 versions are Batllefield 4 Lite

Those versions are heavily trimmed down versions compared to PC and next-gen consoles.

Just like comparing some games' mobile phone versions to actual gaming platform versions.

Theres so many effects and "cool" rubbish going on with the screen in a game of BF these days its amazing we aren't all having seizures. Its as if DICE dont want us to actually be able to see to play the damn game, may as well extend that 2 second black screen interpolation buffer we get every spawn to 30mins cause we can just about see as much. Its like being on drugs.

Oh is THAT what was causing it? I just chalked it up to another bug showing that sort of thing constantly.

...In other news, is it at all related to, when I'm piloting a jet, frequently I get the head jerk of "you've been hit" even when I'm in the middle of nowhere? :P
