Hey you look pretty eager to help so ill ask! im not necessarily having a bug but here is the forum post i just put.

ive downloaded the plugin, saved it, ran it, i see the battlelog setup on my screen complete to 100%, seems to be all done - but when i go launch campaign or quickmatch im told to Download and install the latest Browser Plugin to play the game. i disabled my avast and still nothing. i cant figure out why it wont recognise the install in the game manager.

You need to remove Avast it is a known problem with bf3

google : avast + bf3

if ur unsure

u can start ur pc using msconfig to stop it

hit start

type msconfig - goto startup and process's and remove anything that belongs to avast.

I use avg and i pay for it (no i didnt pirate it , u dont have outdated antivirus its stupid)

themunchiesnom - Your driver seems slightly outa date try to upgrade it manually from ATI website. Follow a guide on google or top of this post

problem had nothing to do with avast - and avast has kept me safe from hordes of trojans and other nasties - its not going anywhere lol. ended up actually being just a weird issue with my adobe flash, quick un-and re-install and all problems solved. running beautifully at ulra with 40 fps. (ps dont be hating on avast so hard, lol)

Kpap i am also assisting another user atm. He is a Asus user like urself. Unfortunatly u guys are on a outdated driver. U must spam asus to get it update as his is currently not allowing him to update at all.

Your drivers need to read 8.8 at least , your on 8.6

You could try to manually update from the ATI site but the tech request i have on atm cannot do it that way, i need to look more into the asus problem, perhaps google might know how asus users can manually update the cards

If ppl are stuck and waitin for a response ever add me to friends.

Tried Chrome and IE. When I launch the campaign it never gets passed the loading screen, left if there for more than 10 minutes. The MP has a similar issue, but the screen is completely black and I hear some music. My anti-virus is MSE. The Alpha and the Beta worked perfectly. Tried closing the antivirus, fraps and a few other things.

Here is the pastebin link.

Can't launch game. bf3.exe*32 appears for a second in task manager and vanishes. All my specs/reports are here
http://pastebin.com/52GHZkXS [pastebin.com]
I've tried disabling firewall, closing extra programs, connecting directly to modem as well as disabling multi gpu(using nVidia drivers, update date as of yesterday), cpu, and decreasing ram in msconfig

Problem: I am attempting to join multiple servers and even campaign, but battlelog always gets stuck on joining. I have used multiple browsers and disabled all security. I have checked my task manager, and bf3.exe usually peaks out at about 80,000 Kb - 200,000 Kb, with everything running using up 2gb of Ram and CPU usage flies all over the place. After awhile, bf3.exe dissapears as well as the Game Manager "joining server..." window. Main problem is that I can not join ANY server.

It could be my driver for my video card, I am using a ATI Mobility Radeon 5870. Attempting to update the drivers through Windows Device Manager seems to never work...

I am getting the exact same problem as you. The battlefield beta worked as it should but retail is not working?
This is ridiculous

When I click on quick match nothing happens it hangs on "Joining" BF3.exe *32 never starts up.
When I try to do campaign the .EXE pops up in task manager but it never goes anywhere.
Windows 7 64bit. Turned off my AVG.
