Unless you happen to be a PS3 player with premium who's dying to play 64 man games because there's so little action in 12v12

they should've made it cross-platform '-.-

OT: still trying the possible solutions and more (reinstalling the game, checking registry) but so far no success!

Jesus fuck. After hearing about how shitty Origin is since it's start up, I eventually break through to purchase this game. PURCHASE, not even the free version, it's like $6 now. And looow and behold, shit doesn't work. Uninstalled, re-installed, changed download/install directories to C:, tried all of the above options in this thread, fucking nothing. The instructions are not even correctly defining the difference between the Product Key and Product Code. "Oh hurr be sure to check your e-mail for the cooooode" oh that's just great because there was no god damn code in the e-mail. Eventually found it in the shitty Origin client and still jack shit. Eat shit EA.

Requesting refund now. Origin needs to get their shit together.

Some players have reported that after recently downloading and installing Battlefield 3 their game does not activate in their Origin My Games list. We're investigating this issue and are working to get you back into your game as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience and stay tuned for updates.

Patience guys!

This damn activation system is so ridiculous. If you BUY a game on YOUR account why the hell you still need to activate the games for yourself???

I just hope BF was on steam..

If someone discover how to play - please tell
Maybe EA wants to make the gift users pay?? Or it's just tech issue?

Why not?
If someone gives you a gift, and then suddenly says: "I've changed my mind, i will keep my gift for me" ... How would you feel?

You guys shouldn't feel ripped off, not because it is free. They are working on fixing it, so dont worry and wait ;)

Everything was fine until I launched battlelog yesterday and saw the message at the top of the screen saying smth like "don't worry, you are not alone, relax and wait". Shit, don't think that this is "just another bug", but a well performed and dirty marketing strategy. It would be wonderful if all this is not so.

Hope you're right)

One more thing - that gift isn't "just a gift". They (EA) posted free products not for fun or for fans) Maybe they have a drop in site traffic, or decrease in profits, god knows. But the main goal was to attract more customers. And they coped with it well.

Ok, first off don't make a point that offends what I say and then make a comment that follows it... You sound ******. And second off, this wasn't JUST for customers, this was for a free game. And no matter what everybody that received a confirmation email of the receipt officially owns a copy of BF3 NO MATTER WHAT! you have proof of purchase and a product code given to you by EA, DICE, ESN, and DANGER CLOSE.... This isn't a scam it's just a bug.
