No Battlefield Heroes Dogtags? :(

I am kind of disappointed by this man, how could you make tags for Battlefield Play4Free (which I don't have many positive words for these days, and I played it a lot in the summer) but not for your cartoony little brother DICE? You guys helped make that game whether you wish to acknowledge it or not. I've played a lot of BFH, A LOT on the scale of 6 level 30s and almost 18,000 games over a few thousand hours and would love to represent the sillier side of Battlefield (much more than BC/2 would) if given the opportunity. Please consider our wants for this. Thank you.

BTW, I am not trying to accuse/flame DICE at all; I simply loved playing BFH a lot and think it's a fantastic game, and definitely deserves its due in BF3. I among other would not have played it so much for so long if it weren't for how wacky it was and yet be incredibly fun to play and encourage anyone who likes the Battlefield series but wants to see a more cartoony version with a different take on gunning to try it.

actually, BFp4f was created by the same BFH team, so, there's no excuse to have one and not the other

even more when both are managed under the same EAsy Studios flag :) (hosted 'til last week on the same DICE building since 2008)


actually, BFH had a BF3 promo during open beta.....enough reasons to include it!

i maid a BF heroes account just to get vet status in BC2 because my BF2 was reg under diff email.. and fuck me if its posible to change it over... but it never came up and i never got my garand... and i hate somebody to this day for that

I've never seen BFH as a BF game, but more like a CoD game.
Mostly infantry only maps, a lot of K/D freaks, and a whiny community.

In other news, we, the old Battlefield players, also want a Battlefield 1942 dogtag!


Don't give me the "There is one, you idiot", that's Battlefield 1943. I wish for one from 1942 to show that I'm playing since the beginning!

I actually wonder why there's none if there's a vet status for BF42....

most fav maps overall as a whole are vehicle maps, inf maps for the forum peeps

luckily, Wicked Wake has gained its own fans like any other good wake map, besides its technical flaws...

You shoot stuff, theres "battlefield" in the name...

If you can see it in the veteran status, it must have dog tag just like all bf series. i agree.

Vehicle Maps(5); Seaside Skirmish, Sunside Showdown, Buccaneer Bay, Wicked Wake, Alpine Assault
Infantry(5); Victory Village, Riverside Rush, Midnight Mayhem, Coastal Clash, Perilous Port

Seems pretty much balanced..

And I don't see any tanks, jeeps or planes in CoD.

Nor do I see funny taunting emotes and weird customizations in CoD...

And CoD fails because they have no dinosaurs.. Battlefield heroes HAS DINOSAURS! A frickin T-REX IN A TANK.

And also 2 players who did something good for the game, received a brontosaurus.

How can you not recognize BATTLEFIELD in HEROES.

Whiny community? If we were not whiny, there would've never been any updates.
As long as they get their money, and we keep quiet. NOTHING WILL HAPPEN.

So that's why we whine, successfully.

Game been out for 3 years, with not that much of progress (until last few months).. It's pretty much normal to be a bit whiny about that.


K/D Freaks are hated in the community.
For example; MustangToGunner who is #1 in ranking.. Is HATED by the community for his noobbashing way to the top.

Yeah that was a huge surprise to be missing a 1942 tag. There are so many tags I'll probably never stick to one for too long, but a 1942 tag would've been my default out of the gate for sure.

And I don't consider 1943 to be a substitute for 1942. Despite the endless love that everyone (or at least DICE) have for Wake Island, I liked all the European and African theater maps much better than the Pacific theater maps.

As one of the Heroes developers, I'd love some BFH tags myself. :)

Just to make sure the chances of BFH dogtags gets higher. BC2 had BFH easter egg.
All in all, a BF game is a BF game, and it does no make sense if it is counted fot veterancy, but not for dog tags. If other BF games are non dogtags they should be too.

Rub it in why don't you. PS3 players don't get BF2, BF Vietnam, BF2142, BFP4F, etc. Sony needs to stop being little girls and let us have these tags.
