1 player start servers

1 want to try something out on an unpopulated server, and in the most recent update notes, it was said that servers can be set to 1 player start again. However, I am unable to actually find a server that is set this way, even when advertised as such.
My question is this. Was there some kind of silent update that reversed this?
I know right after the patch I was able to join emty servers and it did work, but not so much now.

(I'm trying to test the 2D-3D conversion feature of my new TV, but want to try in an empty server)

you can join a server that have no RANKED option activate... you can test what you want...

1p start server is for alterate stats .. only for that

Go to a flight school server or beginners one.

singleplayer?

search an empty server and join.is it that hard?

hmm, lets see. I did find one last night, tested what i wanted, and left the server with 0 points. So it seams that 1 player start servers are good for more than padding stats.

ok smartass, do a serch for '1 player' in server browser. see how many say 1 player, but when you log in, it is not the case. so mabe a little harder than it seems.

polish your stats and stay out of other peoples busyness! jerks!

Testing and having fun on your own or with 1 friend was actually a charm in the BF2 days. i don't give a flying crap about stats, its about having fun! and you fail at it.
Dice just failed to add this to the game from the very beginning.

Config my keyboard,mouse,joystick, as well as testing different video sittings to get the best frame rates.

how does 1 player start mean easy points, sure you can do it for that but, think about all the other benefits it gives us since Dice and EA didn't bring back LAN or the good old bots. and im sure the person who started this topic does not want to be shot at while testing 2D - 3D conversion

omg go servers type 1 player and find server :)

Bring back 1 player start on unranked, or 2 player start. I rented a server to do a 1 on 1 sniper battle with a friend like we did a while ago and now I rented it for nothing.
