Patch after patch... driver after driver... and i still get major fps drops and stutter...
Everything is maxed out, game is running perfectly and then suddenly the fps rate drops and I start to get stuttering... Very disappointed.

You can try lowering down Texture Settings to prevent Stuttering issue.

I have a top of the line system I just built recently, however, BF3 is getting major graphic glitches (making it unplayable). I have a Nvidia 550 ti card / 128gb SSD / i7 processor etc (to maybe help diagnose my problem perhaps?). I read up on it and it said that people with Nvidia 560ti cards that had it overclocked were having those issues. I wasn't overclocked on mine, but I set the card performance even lower than default. I also turned game graphics down from ultra to medium. I don't have as many graphic glitches now, but I freeze up more often. I am frustrated because I love playing the game, however, the current conditions are making me regret spending the money on the game. Please advise me if you are familiar with the problem as I am not a pc tech by trade.

WAIT WHAT?

Oh my eyes :X

550 is a cheap piece of crap cost around $120

550 Ti is overclocked by default, the card is a remake on an old OC'ed chip

LOL Top of the line 550???? Ya ok, I have SLI 460 and I run Ultra 1080p AA off and get 60 fps but on B2K it can drop to 35. They are working on it.

install some monitoring software and see what happens. get msi afterburner and watch your gpu usage. open task manager in the background and leave the performance tab open, note what happens when you see these problems

The 550 ti is an absolutely terrible GPU dude and your system is nowhere near top of the line for that one reason.

I would bet money all your issues disappear if you upgrade your GPU to a 560 ti/570/580

well the guy at "Micro Center" in Denver, Colorado said the Nvidia 550ti was the way to go because there wasn't "that much" of a difference between it and the 560ti. I
have MSI afterburner installed but am not familiar with what it needs to be it. Since i moved it down on MSI and set game graphics down, the glitches don't happen often, but I am just freezing up more.

well the guy at the micro center lied to you. there is a world of difference between a 550ti and a 560ti. 2 550s in sli will barely outperform a 560ti. i run 560ti sli and i am having these issues.
