Level Load stuck (first time starting bf3)

I recently bought bf3 and my game manager gets stuck on the ''loading level'' sequence, I'm unable to play even one game online. I can however, play the campaign and it runs smooth, I also played the Beta and did not have any problems with it. Now however it won't go past the loading level sequence on the game manager in my browser ( firefox 9.0.1)

I'm well aware that many people have issues with the loading level "bug" although with many this only happens after playing one or two games. concidering the fact that I'm unable to join even one game, i've created a new topic about it.

From another forum:

I mentioned opening ports within windows or on your router for BF3 might be a possible fix for people who are having a hard time entering servers, though I can't be positive it is the cause in BF3, but I have used this method to fix similar issues for other games.

1. Within windows:

Allow BF3 access through Windows firewall. In win7 go to: Control Panel > System & Security > Windows Firewall> Allow a program through firewall(top left of screen). Scroll down to Battlefield 3 and check both checkmarks to the right of it. Hopefully it helped. (I have Windows7 firewall disabled completely to avoid problems, but that increases security risks.)

2. Behind a router:

Unfortunately I can't tell you exactly how to do it because all routers are different. Here is a link which I have used for 4 different routers successfully. []

Once you figure out how to open ports on your router, here are the ports to open.

If you are playing on PC, please enable the following online ports on your connection:
TCP: 80, 443, 9988, 20000-29999, 22990, 17502, 42127
UDP: 3659, 14000-14016, 22990-23006, 25200-25300

3. Punkbuster

Just in case somebody hasn't done this yet, or PB has updated and you need to do it again. Use the link below to download punkbuster manually and follow the directions on the website. []

Punkbuster is the anticheat for BF3 and many other games. It uses two services on your computer to scan (PnkBstrA.exe/PnkBstrB.exe) If these processes are killed by Antivirus or GameBooster for example, you will be unable to join servers or kicked quickly because PB can't communicate with your computer. The other way PB will have trouble communicating with your computer and could cause inconsistent game joining is because your network is blocking the communication. To make sure that the windows firewall isn't blocking the network connection go back to the "Allow a program through firewall" that I discussed above and make sure there are 2 instances of both PnkBstrA and PnkBstrB. One of the instances for each should have Home/Work(Private) checked, and the other should have "Public" checked.

Go to: Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Firewall\Allowed Programs

Check both boxes for BF3 and make sure there are two PnkBstrA and PnkBstrB's and that they both have at least one check mark.
I bought BF3 premium, just because i can...

I want to add that I can play a coop game with a friend, so I guess it is not a problem on my end.

I sorta have the same issue.
I can play 1 match but when the new match begins I get stuck at loading and always need to reconnect.
I keep missing the first minutes of every match due to this.

I had trouble joining at first but disabled my avast antivirus web shield function and then I got multiplayer working.

I'm thinking this is a problem with me using chrome perhaps.

Loading level for 30 minutes...still not working.
I have an identical computer next to mine, same shared internet connection and he's up and playing in under 5 minutes one the same server!

EA DO SOMETHING!!! (yes this is full caps because this is simply unacceptable).

Yes, same problem here. Some game it does load without problem and some other game, "loading level" forever and it goes no where. Even after rebooting my computer, sometime the first game does not load, then it's good for a game... and ... and... you know the story!

I'm using Windows 7 64bit.
Love BF3, but that problem is very anoying!

Just got to play BF3 today, so disappointing - I got into one server and played for about a minute 'till the whole game froze. I then joint another server, but the map just ended and while I was in the map change screen, it froze again. I've been trying to join servers for the past couple hours - all I get is "Loading Level."

This is really annoying, why did some servers let me join? Far out EA & DICE should give some bloody support.

Same frustrating issue here. I tried changing the browsers. Nope. Tried rebooting. Sometimes helps, but not for long. Tried the firewall thing. Nope, all checked. I've only been able to get onto a server and actually play maybe 6 times, and half of those I get booted from the server. I like the game, but I got it to play multiplayer and it ain't workin'. Guess it's back to PS3 games til they get this fixed.
