Most BF3 players are pleased with the new patch and of course the game itself. And all these players dont give a shit about forums. They just play. Patched or not patched. So mostly its those who dont like certain things about the game who come to the forum and want to discuss it.

Dice thought this battlelog is a good idea lol.

Patch is otherwise good, but minimap icons are stupidly big and a lot of stuff actually BLOCKS enemy on the map and you can't see them. Also, supression is something that I no longer think to be fitting for a BF game tbh.

I am not one to bitch but I am just wondering why did they produce a patch that did not fix any of the real technical problems? The constant disconnections( my last round pre patch I was disconnected 8 times in 25 minutes), Punkbusters problems, the glitches and bugs etc.

What they have done instead is mod the game to alter some weapons and vehicles to suit the tastes of who exactly???? Those who like to pilot jets and choppers apparently....

None of the technical issues have been solved??? i still get disconnected as often as before???

Had they been honest and call their patch a mod which is what it is in essence it might have been better accepted...

That being said I adapt to it and live with it but just wondering why did they have to alter the balance which seemed fine to me .

Listening to the casuals much so they say like 99% are actually represented by casuals as I see more low ranking players

They don't give a shit what players want, they bind you to buy the crap they make.

I'm going to have to say a large portion of the fixes and tweaks made in the patch were for the better and I believe they fixed a lot of really poorly balanced areas. Actually some of the stuff could be balanced even more as I still say vehicles are still way to over powered in comparison to the people on the ground. There have still been to many games where there just couldn't be enough engineers running around because of the amount of vehicles running around because of quick re-spawns for vehicles(so all the armor whores can keep feeding their oh so important K/D ratio because that's what matters... right?) . I honestly think most of the problems came from simply lack of thought because other then that a large portion of the mistakes I've seen in the game have no other excuse for existing. But regardless of how f'd the game is still in many ways the patch was for the better and I hope they keep heading in the direction they are going because I can see BF3 starting to shape up pretty well.

P.S. PUT IN DIRECTION FOOTSTEPS! Seriously getting knifed by a guy sprinting up to you in full battle rattle is just stupid! Make crouching and laying prone more beneficial other then simply changing your personal elevation.

Well DICE are wankers when it comes to listening to the community. Can't be stressed enough.

I like the majority of the patch, it's just the god damn bullet deviation when suppressed that pisses me off.

Vehicle sounds are terrible for one .... did someone drop ball bearings all over the floor of the tanks? Did someone scratch their nails against a blackboard?

Vehicles are perfect with the latest patch!
Since BF42 (where you could blow up tanks with hand grenades), they've become stronger and stronger until they became a nuisance from BF2 on. I played BF2 almost exclusively on "infantry only" servers in the end, but BF3 doesn't have any good ones.

Vehicles are less strong, and AT mines are finally surviving the player's death. Best patch so far.

Someone post them link to battlelog on that tweeter plz, to show them where the game community is.
