BF3 PC The stinger follows its target and then *poof* it hits the heli/jet and nothing...no hit marker or anything. I see a visual explosion and smoke but no damage is done to the target...help

I'm having an odder issue, where the stinger/igla will not lock on at all to air vehicles. Not certain if this was put in during the patch to aid pilots with a perk or not, but it certainly can be frown inducing.

Well, it can certianly be said that the effective locking range is about 10 feet... :(

Most of the weapons and items in this game have been put in the game for filler. Basically only one of each item set that's useful including add-ons. Gimmicky crap. A laser?! C'mon weak. xD
Better off just using rpgs and learning to fire them, trust me, better chance at getting them.

yea i dont get any lock at all, its pissing me off.
i can hold the heli or jet in my sights for hours without a single beep.
the game is so broken. i wont be buying BF4, this one has pissed me off enough.
