"You were disconnected from EA Online (1) " cont.

since the issue with the servers going down a few days ago i now get disconnected randomly and frequently with the msg "You were disconnected from EA Online (1) ". can be after 5 mins play or after 2 maps it dosent matter. i tried repairing the game files and updating punkbuster and it still continues.

anyone have any idea what is causing this or how to fix it?

I'm having the exact same problems as you, and it's really starting to get frustrating. I've been playing BF3 for weeks without any problems whatsoever. Then today, while I was about 10 minutes into a game, my game froze and ever since I've been getting this error. Every time I try joining a server, the game would load up like normal, then suddenly closes with the error: "You were disconnected from EA Online (1)."

A quick search online indicates that many people having this exact problem. Try to follow the steps outline here:

What do they expect??? I still to this day from day 1 get black screens when loading new maps and the only way to fix it is to close the game. AND NOW i'm getting this stupid error "You were disconnected from EA Online (1)" which it seems a lot of people are getting. I have had it for a week now and have not been able to play 1 game since it started.

Who cares whether we could make the game or not. The fact of the matter is they claim they can make these games and people pay good money to play them. To pay money for a game that you cant play doesn't really make sense would you agree with that xDeceptive97x???

If not then you're gay and btw you're stats are hardly impressive so don't start giving people shit over stats which clearly has nothing to do with the topic

Also, try resetting your wireless router. I found that I'm able to connect to servers roughly 2 times out of 10, as opposed to 0 times out of 10 haha. You've got nothing to lose.

-Open chrome/IE/firefox
-Type in the adress bar 192.168.0.1 and press enter. if nothing work with that IP, try with one of these: 192.168.1.1, 127.0.0.1, 127.0.1.1. With one of these IPs you should be able to open up your router's page.
-Log into the router panel (username is usually "admin" or "administrator", aswell as the password)
-Once you are in, you should search for an option called UPnP, and disable it. it might be somewhere in the advanced options, i really can't help you with this one because it's not on my router, and every router it's different, so you might or might not have it.

I had this issue A LOT. I tried completely disabling all firewalls and antivirus software, I even followed every step which is outlined on every site when searching for this issue.

My problem turned out to be a program called PeerBlock (a new version of Peer Guardian) which is designed to protect your IP address when downloading torrents. I noticed in the log that it was blocking some EA sites, and as soon as I disabled it everything worked perfectly.

I hope this helps anyone else which is finding this issue hairpullingly annoying!

Anyone else getting kicked from about every game because of the good ol' "Lost Connection to EA" bullcrap? and Major server lag. i had my damn Cable repair guy out today they said i had a problem with my modem. so they replaced it with A totally different brand and before they left they showed the download mbps at 40 which is what i'm rated for. So it seems i'm still having problems or its the freaking game.
SO WHAT'S THE WORD ANYONE ELSE CRASHING EVERY OTHER GAME OR WHAT?

I gave them shit because im sick of people whinging the fuck out of battlelog and battlefield 3 because they have nothing better to do...And YES your right we should have the right to pay for a game that we can play but you must understand that it just annoys the F*#k out of you when people whine on battlelog would YOU agree Shtang?????

seems to be stable for me after deleting everything in the temp folder skiping those i can not delete, then uninstall/reinstalling origin again. Still get disconnected though BUT not as frequent now only like once every 5+ rounds with origin in "go offline mode" and in game settings "enable origin in game" unticked.

my flat mate and I are both playing on the same router. we dont get kicked at the same time from the "You were disconnected online message" so much for a router issue pfft.

deleted AVG and now no problems
