It needs to be addressed. I do not care how you snipe. I do not care where you snipe. I do not care how much you spot. I do not care how good of a shot you are and how bad others are at it. I do care WHEN you snipe, though.
Simply put, the sheer number of snipers on objective based servers is getting out of hand. Selecting a kit that excels at recon and long range shooting is going to ultimately be detrimental for your team if there already is an excess of snipers. Teams that have an overabundance of snipers DO NOT WIN conquest rounds. Teams that have an overabundance of snipers DO NOT WIN rush rounds. Again, I do not care how good you spot or how often you place tugs and soflams, if your team DOES NOT NEED A SNIPER, then please do not select it.
Or at the very least, join TDM/SDM. If your only concern is your K:D with a sniper rifle, do not join an objective based server.

The funny thing is, usually on those sniper-filled teams, there are barely any that are using MAV or tugz to help the others. Just the sound of a bunch of single shots like a god damned wild west show.

Aggressive snipers earn my respect when they arm M-COMS, defend it until it blows, and then places a spawn beacon behind enemy lines.

But snipers pick people off from a distance. They defend objectives from 1000m away. They spot enemies for better battlefield situational awareness. When you see a sniper camping on the tower on caspian, he's clearly doing more to help the team than you are...

Which is why I cant stand using recon without SKS or M39 with kobra.
I'd probably help the team more with just 93R and nothing else than most recons.

Funny as I can recall me and my platoon members were running around with Recon class and uses Pistol only (Someone on our TS suggest that as all of the opponent are kinda easy for us) to win the entire Rush round.
And No, Conquest mode is not a objective based game. Its a kill and bleed out ticket to win game, that is why you can see so many Recon class camping on top of the hill.
Recon won't benefit much from Rush & Squad Rush mode if they choose to camp too far away from the objective, that is also why I do not see much Recon on Rush matches.

too many snipers in a game that has a sniper class, and having too many snipers being detrimental to the team, that's a first.
