Battlefield 3 AUG A3 Attachment Guide

Hey guys,

there are already several reviews out there in the internet about the AUG A3, but none of them focused on the Attachments for this gun, so this video is basically for people who couldn't find out yet, which attachments are the best for them, but I am also talking about pros and cons of the gun

I tested all combinations of the attachments for the AUG A3 in several tests like close mid and long range and I came to a final conclusion, which attachments are the best.

The only thing you need to attach to the AUG A3 is the underslung and 320 smoke

That's weird because i thought the big patch made the heavy barrel increase the accuracy of aimed fire while only decreasing hipfire accuracy. That's how it works for me.

Same with the foregrip, decreasing horizontal recoil but also decreasing accuracy.

Sorry for bumping this, but:
I found the AUG A3 with Underslung and HBAR had the least bullet deviation.
The added recoil with the HBAR, it's easy to handle.
Foregrip just makes the accuracy a little worse, cause foregrip + heavy barrel will never be as accurate as hbar alone.

I'd use the reflex (RDS)
foregrip
laser sight (if you can) or 'whatever you want'

But please don't use the aug a3. It's severely over powered and it's probably going to get nerved in the future updates. Use the acwr or l85a2 instead?

Holo/Bipod/Heavy Barrel
(Long Range) - very effective to burst fire at range, especially with bipod


Holo/Forgrip/Flash Supressor
(Close to mid range) - flash suppressor and forgrip keep bullets on target, making up for rate of fire.

in none ranked match do u get all weapons with all attachments?
