4 Players To Start Round?

I just noticed I couldn't set the minimum player count to start the round to 2 in the server setup menu. It's been changed to 4. Anyone else noticed that?

PS. Seems a bit like an anti-boosting measure to me...

Thx for killing my server EA. Cant get games to start anyone cause no one wants to wait around for the min of 4 players, at least if me and a buddy were in others would follow now they just disconnect and find a server that has already met the min 4 players

Every one thinks that if u got a server with 2 players to start its for boosting as i read alll the comments from all the trolls in these forums. but the case is no one wants to join an empty server someone has to be first to get others to following in. Me and a few others in my clan will sit in our server just to have others follow. If were lucking enought to have 2 on early on at the same time we still need to have 2 more to start , but what happens now is they just leave to play a server that is all ready underway.

Leave the double XP out of the ratio, put it so 2 people need to be in the server to start a match & then leave it the hell alone, haven't they screwed around enough with games.

I can see alot of servers vanishing from the server list if the 4 player start carries on. Shame really, some pretty decent server out there. :(

In the zeal to stop boosting, they did a drive by on server owners and trashed us. I could jump start my server before by just going in alone and waiting a few minutes before somebody would join; that would start the game and it would be full up in about 20 minutes. Now, I can't get it started until I hook up with online friends and get them to join. My server went from being full every day to being empty unless I restart it each day.

EA: You are going to lose revenue over this. Nobody cares about the boosters. The server owners (who provide your revenue) CARE about their servers being empty and very difficult to restart. I bet anything the number of servers being rented is already dropping.

NOTE: I noticed the change when I found my server empty the day of the patch. It HAD been full daily all on it's own without me having to kick start it each day after it dies around 2-3am. With 2 player start, some random would always get it restarted for me. Now that doesn't happen.

If i am paying for the server , then it should be up to me how many people are in it to start the game not EA!

He's not a booster, he's right, you pay for a server that your ment to have (FULL control over) & then almighty EA make it so you can't even start a match till 4 people are in your server, where the logic, the people that are stats padding should have there rank/stats reset.

Just cos some people do stats pad, doesn't mean they all are.

They talk about stopping stats padding, but yet you can infact pay for all your unlocks on weapons & vehicle, wheres the logic in that? I know it's to make more money, thats what ea has become, I remember when EA actually cared about there customers & didnt try screwing them over.

That won't stop stat padding, it ruins good servers. Look how many servers have 4 afk now, and auto balance seems to put 3 or all 4 on the same side. STUPID EA!!!
