i hope perks are non-existent in bf4. especially vehicle perks. nothing more stupid in my opinion.
doesn't help how bad the UI is to change the perks...
I have no problems with the current UI of perks. I kinda like it, to have a menu showing up right before your deployement where you can change perks with 2 clicks.
And I really hope perks stay in BF4, since they add more choice in the game. It adds a little extra to it.
The vehicle customization options are actually really nice and pretty accurate. By default, an M1A2 wouldn't be equipped with reactive armor, but it might depending on the mission, and it's nice that the game lets you decide that; also, a jet would be equipped with different weapons depending on what role it would play (air-to-air or air-to-ground). I like the fact that you have to choose in that manner, and that different loadouts will yield different results, and that makes the game more varied as well. Some of the soldier cuztomization options are nice too, like having a guy with extra ammo able to give rounds to every soldier in his squad, but squad sprint is pretty ridiculous.

Op hasn't unlocked all his perks. 0/20. Next?

I see what you mean by the UI part. the UI is a direct port from consoles, you can't even click on a flag in the spawn menu, ridiculous. Perks are fine, it's the players that make them annoying. For example you're playing an infantry map like metro and there's still some retards who play engineer and even take explosives perk.
Then there's people who take reduced explosives damage perk which is useless everywhere except metro meatgrinder servers.
Then you have squads with 2x or 3x same perk. It's a year old game and people still don't know how it works. -.-
