BF3 Stuttering?

Hey, what's up guys?

Here's my problem:

When I try to play bf3 (no matter if it's all set to Ultra or Low) i'm experiencing some lags... but with NO fps drop!!

- The use of GPU is 99% all the time (this is normal, cuz I play with all set to ultra). My GPU is GTX 580 Palit 1.5gb 384bits. The temperature is OK (max: 72º)
- My processor is an i5-2320, I can't say if the problem is in it or no.
- My PSU is an 550w Seventeam (can It be the problem)?
- 8GB (2x4GB) = Memory Kingston (no problem in it, tested other memories)
- HD 7400rpm barracuda (tested with another HD, not the problem too).

I really need help. I can't stand with my FPS 50+ all on Ultra but lagging !!!

Even everything set to LOW I experience these lags (but with NO FRAMERATE drop)

What can It be? The ºC of the Processor hits maximum 70º, almost same as GPU.

Thanks!

Have you disabled core parking? It removed the stutter i had in most games.

- Go to Regedit

- Find this key:- " 0cc5b647-c1df-4637-891a-dec35c318583 "

- Within this key, there is a value called: " ValueMax "

- This value represents the % number of cores the system will park - the default 100% ie: all Cores are potentially park-able

- Change the value from 64 to 0 so the " ValueMin " and " ValueMax " are both zero

- You will have to find the key a few times and repeat the process for each time it is found - the number of instances will depend on the number of power profiles in your system

- Do a full shutdown and power-off and cold-re-start

Post your Os that will help too, if its only just recently started to happen it could be the latest patch or soemting i have experienced stuttering since downloading it. Also try the game on weaker settings.

I'm sorry, but, what core parking?

Some cores wil be turned on/off dynamically depending on the load, and it usually results in hiccups and stuttering.

I used the utility from this site to unpark my cores. It's simply a click of a button and done.

Going to shutdown now
Thanks! Will see if that helps.

I use the same utility. Great program.

LukinHaa1997 if you have an Intel processor try disabling Hyperthreading in your Bios. That along with the core parking helps some systems.

I5 doesn't use hyperthreading, it's used on the I7.

Why turn off HT, it's an essential part of your system. If you're experiencing lag, but no frame drops, then it's not your system.

According to these two threads - the problem is probably with the game, either client or server side is causing this.

Hmm i'm also having this problem, but it's a little random, sometimes it doesn't start to happen and other times it does.

When it starts it's like small stutters every 5-10 seconds, it only stops when the next map loads or i restart the game.

This issue wasn't there before, it started about 2 weeks ago.

Sounds about right

High pingers, lots of people yakking in the chat. poor code. not enough bandwidth for game servers to communicate with ea/dice servers
