I haven't read the whole thread since it's 16 pages. But this seems too be the same problem one of my friends and quite a lot of people had in Beta. Back then the fix was to get a overclock software such as MSI afterburner and then increase the voltage to the GPU a little bit. So if you have default 1.000V you could up it to 1.010V for example and it could fix the issue. I don't remember how much my friend upped his voltage. But depends on overheating issues really. Not more than 50mV I suppose.

same, I thought it was because I was running out of date drivers.... (format 3 days ago, new drivers released 2 days ago... typical), obviously after reading these posts its not... never had any problems in the beta but now?! lol :|

Windows 7 32-bit
GTX 580(drivers up to date, did a clean install as well)
4 GB of RAM(3.25 usable)
intel core quad Q6600 @2.4GHz

Watching my video card usage/temp while playing. Default is 772 core clock. Usage averages 75ish while running around, 98 while action is going on. Temp is slowly rising as I play, would guesstimate 65C while playing.

I crash whenever the game wants to, but it seems like a huge majority is when I'm firing at an enemy or something big happens....

Anyone have thoughts on what I should do?

Add me on the list. Crashing no matter which MP server, gametype, whatever, that I join. Getting annoying...

AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.2 Ghz
4 Gigs of RAM
Radeon HD6950
UPdated drivers and all that... Nothing.

Sux. :(

Phenom II X6 @ 3.5ghz(turbo 3cores 4ghz), 2 Crossfired 5770's

Can't complain much, the only crashes I get are when loading the game and these are very, very, very rare

When I join a server I can play for hours straight

Bad company2 and Battlefield 3, really set the standart for a stable computer because they are multithreaded a lot and push the graphics cards to the limit, and there for push every pc to the limit

Crashing too, in the first fight in campaign, consistently... ARG...
What a disapointment. I was enjoying the graphics tho...

On top of that, I see the autosave kicking in but when I restart, it starts over everytime...

my game crashes quite often, don`t think it ran more than 20mins straight.. I also have some issues with sounds when there`s a lot going at once but it seems to fix itself, until the game freezes and crashes..

Radeon HD 5770

everything up to date..

I get some black screen and need to ctrl-alt-del and shut down the game from the task manager, handful of times every hour. :(

What`s up with that? there has to be a fix for this, because it ruins a great game.

Add me also, I may have a weak system but it should and would be able to handle this game on medium. But I can't even get a glimpse of the game. The Game Manager says I'm connecting or for Single player that I'm loading the level... after waiting for over 15 minutes I decide to click the BF3 tab on the task bar.... the window crashes and it says BF3 has stopped working... WTF I haven't even seen the damn game yet! Sadly I shouldn't have bought the game today, it did the same damn thing for me on the Beta... I was just hoping DICE/EA actually "fixed" this problem... Looks like they lied through their teeth and just kept the same build and didn't fix the major issues.

I should've known better from buying anything from EA after the fiasco that DA2 was. If possible I'd really really like a refund... I only have some funds and over half of my funds went into buying this shoddy game.

It seems Asus is having an issue opening the game at all. My friend and I have G73JHs, and I saw a G73JH user with the same problem on the first page, plus another Asus user on the first page as well. We all have the same problem. The game says it's opening, goes to initializing, and then disappears, as if to say it was minimized. This problem was very reoccurring in the beta, but I just blew it off as a problem with the beta only. Is there something about Asus brand computers that the game just cannot deal with, or is it something else?
