Guys stoping process tree is not a solution.
This is something EA has done in the last patch that did not work properly.
I have the same issue.
And please dont be a Dick and post end process as fix beacuse its not.

the problem is fixed by manualy downloading the upodate and run it, that worked for me

I have fixed this.
Anyone running a custom windows blind or windows theme etc should turn them off, my computer recognized window blinds as a game.

its an origin side bug ME3 has the same problem

remove IGO32.dll (as far as i can tell is a redundant file) from you origin folder and bf3 works fine (for me at least)

> Go to AI Suite > settings > and first of try to disable WiFi apps

> Uninstall Akamai net session

Zu viele Fehler im Spiel ist! Nicht der Erwähnung Herkunft ärgerlicher Fehler "Spiel im Hintergrund laufen muss geschlossen werden" oder "ungültig die E-Mail-Adresse oder Passwort" in battlelog anmelden, wenn ich in Origin LOL bin .... Es ist sehr frustrierend und ärgerlich. Ich hatte nie ein Spiel mit so vielen Fehlern und technischen Problemen.

I solved it (at least at my pc) Seems that the bf3 update does not work good together with a older version of Origin. I went to the site and downloaded the latest version (somehow the program will not update his-self) I did NOT remove older version first. Then install the new version which automatic will be installed over the old version.
From that moment everything worked fine and the problem is gone.

Having the same problem as everyone else. There seems to be no solution so far, since most people have tried the logical things, like task manager etc.
Hopefully it will be fixed. :/
