Users on 32-bit operating systems have reported problems with installing the Battlelog web plugin and using Google Chrome. We're working to have this issue resolved before the end of the week. Affected users are encouraged to temporarily use another web browser.

Plugin won't install

I have now ran the plugin installation 3 times yet it won't install. Any idea's?

I am running Firefox v7.0.1 (Plugin did install on Chrome but I would prefer to use Firefox), Adblock Plus disabled, Firewall Exceptions w/ ESET Smart Security 5 and Origin and Battlefield 3 set w/ run as admin.

PS. I should also probably add that I am having issues with the server filter which is not allowing me to select any filters. Is there a fix for this? This happens on all browsers.

Same here, both IE and Chrome work fine but I want to keep using my preferred Firefox. I've tried half a dozen times at least and it always hangs up on the last quarter inch of the loading bar, and then the window just dissapears

I have the same issue now with Firefox and battlelog-web-plugins-1.118.0-retail-prod.exe
Works fine with Internet Explorer however.
Tried uninstalling/reinstalling battlelog to no avail.

Anyone know of a solution?

(This thread was top of the Google search results btw)

I can install 11.118.0 on Firefox 12.0 but when I go back to the game it still says "update Available" The issues with this game are getting ridiculous. I think I have spent more time troubleshooting than playing Battlefield 3

Temp Solution => Open IE => Tools => Internet Options => Programs => Set IE as default and will work.

SOLVED for IE11!, " tried full BF4 uninstall to no avail, same problem, starts to install then stops at last millimeter, no fault code, just doesn't install" Solution; select "tools" then "manage add ons" then find "SonarAx Control" under Electronic Sports Network i Sverige AB, then make sure it is enabled, I don't know how it became disabled but enabling it let me log right in, I would look for this or a similar plug-in in whatever browser you are using (I found solution under a Chrome work around then just looked in add-ons and found that one disabled) hope this helps, BTW. just noticed this said BF3, I was having issues with BF4 but problem is the same so solution should be as well

Try joining a match and you should be prompted to manually download and install the plugin at that point.
