Please help
BF3 is crashing after 2-3 seconds, first map, Single Player.

DirectX Error - DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG
DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG: Device hung due to badly formed commands.. GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti" Driver 28562

Dell XPS 420
Windows 7 Pro 64-bit with Service Pack 1
4GB RAM
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti : Driver 285.62

I tried running ..\Battlefield 3\__Installer\directx\redist\DXSETUP.exe
No luck

same with ati radeon 6970, and latest driver 11.11 ati control center,and driver 8.911, with latest drivers and bios of all. Badly formed commands looks like a programming error, so it should be fixed by ea...

2-12-2011 updated my driver to 8.911.1 and ati control panel to 11.11b and i dont get that error. But i get anoher error with bf3.exe, see other posts...

OK been playing for a month no probs. Had the NVidia 285 driver installed. Then out of nowhere starts crashing 5 minutes into match. Havnt changed anything why now wants to crash? Upgraded new drivers still the same crash n hang. U know the story.
So how did u guys fix this?

SAME HERE! did a weird thing lol now I can play 20min without crash!

Just switch to win classic theme and go to advance settings in control panel and use performance mode!

well this works60% :D!
I crash after 20min with DirectX error or NVIDIA deriver not responding!

Same here with 580GTX 3GB and latest drivers 290.53.
After a few hours or minutes the screen crash/ freeze with all this little green things looks like doller sign`s accros the screen.
I hope EA/Dice or Nvidia come with a fix soon.

i had this problem with my GTX 580. my gtx was factory overclocked to 782 MHz, so i just used MSi afterburner and put it back to normal 772 MHz. fixed the crashing. i can play perfectly now 8)

i used to get this error but only when i record videos with Fraps and get error message fom nvidia drivers

AND AGAIN THE SAME F****************** PROBLEM
