My problem is when I'm in the configuration settings screens I can move my mouse around, but it doesn't accept any inputs, none of my mouse buttons do anything. It's a real P.I.T.A. Nobody seems to answer much on these forums either. I wish I could just chat with someone from Origin to get a fix.

Have you tried moving the mouse like 2 inches below the item you are trying to select, I just found that out in campaign mode.

my mouse works fine in the menus but doesn't in game. it acts like I'm holding down the left mouse button, my primary weapon will fire all by itself. sprint doesn't work etc. Iv'e tried resoring the default key bindings and grahics options, no luck. using 955 be and gtx 460 logitech g510 keyboard and g500 mouse. anyone know a fix for this. Re-install maybe? never happened until 12/6 patch, and everything will work nomally for about 2 minutes, then it gets screwed up,

I have the same problem with the mouse in the options - i can move it but I cannot select any options. moreover I cannot access any options beyond gameplay; even then I cannot access key mappings. i.e. cannot get to video, audio setting etc... very frustrating.

I have the game on PS3 and bought a new PC for BF3 ( after having loved BF2 all those years ago on PC) and after the joke that BF3 is on PS3 (tho a bit better now; still needs a lot of work DICE).

While doing this I had the live chat going with ea support - all he/she said was call ea support; thanks a bunch. real helpful....................

I have the same problem. At the loadout screen my mouse just doesn't function aside from letting me move it around the screen. I can't select my kit, option, or anything. I have to use the enter key to go into the game and escape to exit. Really frustrating.

I think fullscreen mode has issues with Radeon cards. My fullscreen doesn't work, either.

Ok so EA and BF3 has a issue with this. WHen will they solve this with a Patch? For such a game and company it's unacceptabme to take so long time to solve this problem.

Has no one a clue how to solve this?

This problem sounds like a real pain. It isn't affecting me (it did start happening once in-game till I left the server) but can I suggest repair install (right click on BF3 in origin). It sounds like something got corrupted when the game patched which seems to be a common Origin problem.

Failing that, maybe deleting configuration files could work if they somehow have bad values stuck in them. Though you might have to do some searching to find out exactly what config files should be removed (the game should rebuild them for you when you start it up, presuming it is programmed with a modicum of sensibility)

Put your thread title into the little box, next to the word "search".

I am having a mouse issue also. LMB just goes off randomly. I have tried three different mice, same random problem. Only does this in BF3. This is very annoying. Emptying out guns and throwing nades when I dont want to, or better yet firing an RPG into the wall in front of me. Not good on my health. Common dice,ea or whoever you are , are you to busy counting your money to make this game stable?

When I'm holding the right mouse button and looking down the sights, sometimes the RMB ceases to work and I go back to off the hip, very irritating when sniping or lying in wait...:(
