How were certain 'users' able to make themselves BF3 moderator? Was it something in the Battlelog code or did they genuinely get given moderator status?
I saw a lot of posts before about the edited posts of Sticky Threads, but they've all been fixed as of now after mods have said that the "situation being handled and looked into".

Not sure where this rumour is coming from, but the guy was a moderator. He was from the russian side of the boards, all languages have their own set of moderators to aid that section of the community thus making it so native-speakers to that language can assist the community they know and understand the most.
Most likely thing is that this moderator then used the change language option at the bottom of your screen to switch to the english forums and do said actions. Ultimately, he was already a moderator.. I personally and Canuck, did not recognize him.. but we are not going to know every single moderator, nor is the community either.
Hope this helps,
T.

So this is simple CSS/HTML?
Rubbish. Should be something restricted to have the mod status (how there's restrictions for having Veteran - it doesn't just appear through singular code - it's all based on the EA Veteran Site with the If/While commands).
Just play better
How did it take you 117 hours to get to Colonel 45 when it takes the average user 40-50 hours?
Worse top weapons, worse K/D, worse, SPM, worse score with classes, worse vehicle scores, much worse awards and your team score is the epitome of a COD noob.

Ah, it does, thanks.
It seems that whoever appoints people on the Russian side (commonly acknowledged by many BF players as 'hacker central' for the large amount of Russian players who are indeed hacking) isn't doing a good job - that user didn't stick to RU servers because I saw him many times, and know for certain he'd been reported often.
At least the English speaking section has their side under control.

Well there's the problem, all moderators should be required to enter a voice coms channel or "check in" at least once a week to be caught up on the goings on of the battlefield.
There is simply little to no communication between the different moderators and it makes for a very unprofessional looking mess of a forum, with moderators now having the ability to ban someone from all their origin games there should be a little more background and integrity checks for said player before handing out such potentially dangerous powers.

He was only "Quoting" a moderators "status".
You obviously missed the shit earlier, b'cos you would have known what he was on about. EDIT*** You obviously did see it, but yet you still tried to correct some one quoting another?
Now, Mr. Pro... Get off your high horse.
