Hey I just bought the game, and it won't let me join games.
It's stuck on the joining server in the bottom left corner.

I've been dealing with the same problem. The origin windows pops up when I click join server and then i get stuck at joining server and the game never launches

Possible fix: (May not work for all, works for me)

Fresh boot.
Launch BF3 and battlelog.
Exit origin, keeping browser window open with battlelog.
Navigate to your install folder and launch BF3.exe.
When battlelog opens (new tab/window) close the previous tab/window and try to join a game.

Good luck.
You have to whine louder and be total shit at this game to get anything changed.

I've had this problem since the last game patch was released, as have many other players.

I've tried alot of things in the hope it will fix it, including a full reinstall, and so far nothing has worked. The livechat people can't seem to fix it (I've spoke to many of them).

Considering it was the patch, for me, that caused this issue I feel the only solution will be another game-patch.

It's been 4 or so weeks since i've been able to play (other than once right after a livechat person 'changed my account' or something).. it worked for one game, now it wont work again. whatever they changed fixed it, as soon as i left the server whatever was changed seem to reset leaving me unable to play again.

Goodluck solving your issue, it's been weeks for me and so far noone has been able to offer any useful help.

This was not an issue pre-patch and the only thing to change on my computer since this problem arose was the patch, go figure!
Please combine BF2 & Armored Kill for Battlefield 4.

I changed browsers, Firefox originally didn't work for me, but chrome did, so I swapped to chrome. It worked :) Now I'm back to firefox and it works

If you have already played the game and after a update it wont run, 1st thing to do is go to MY DOCUMENTS or DOCUMENTS.

then copy and paste your BF3 Folder somewhere.

Delete original folder and then run game,

99% fix.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Al others , run bf3 from origin, see if its opening a new webbrowser page, if not..run Origin as Admin.. not meaning( i am logged in as admin)

Go to origin folder, right click origin.exe /properties/compatibility/ then tick the box Run this program as administrator!\

If still no fix, Contact the BCS ! we will help you running within 5 min!

Firefox used to work well for me. I start having the "Joining Server...." stuck problem today right after the patch.
The procedure above works for me when I change to either Chrome, or IE9. However, changing back to Firefox and mine still stuck.
Will have to stick with IE

Just go to My Documents and delete the Battlefield folder. I then went back into Origin and checked for updates and signed back into multiplayer. Works fine now.

The delete battlefield tip does not work. What does work is uninstalling then reinstalling origin. This is a gargantuan pain in the ass. Ea sort it out for gawds sake....plus deleting that folder resets your settings in game. Thanks for nothing whoever posted that idiotic message.
Trying to keep it funny....

I've got this problem. This sorted out by:

1. Disabling using of compability mode on bf3.exe.
2. Disable run as administrator box on bf3.exe.

Hope then works!

Sorry but I'll have to post this here and bump this post.

Here is my problems
1) I open Origin and lunch BF3, it tries to shoot it but it doesn't open the browser.
2)When I'm lucky enough to make the game run by the means (above), I look up a server and it gets stuck at joining also once I try another server it says to close the game on the background and I have to go to manager and close bf3.exe.
Does anyone had something similar?

Nothing of all them is working for me. I can still not joining. The Gamemanager is just closing without any message.
Win says, there is a error in kernelbase.dll.
Try the thing with the browser, taskmanager, deleting files, and and and....... Nothing!
The problem is since the last patch. Since that, i´m not able to play. And so i´m not willing to buy the close quater!! For what?

I am having a similar problem since the patch. I start the connection process but at some point I get a disconnection error (no number or anything) or a message saying that the server did not respond or could not be reached. This has happened to me after most of the patches/content packs were released and always goes away after a few days to a week. I always update punkbuster when this starts to happen to no avail (it updates fine but the problem persists). This time I saw a thread where someone was having a problem and their version of origin wasn't fully updated, but after downloading the newest origin installer and updating I still can't connect. Since the problem always seems to resolve itself after a while I don't want to uninstall everything, but it would be nice to know what the problem is.

Same here I just manage to play once in a while but not all the time. Deleting the Battlefield 3 in the documents folder work once.
Edit: Does anyone have any specific use of the Cloud or do you guys use the local data?

I use the cloud, I could literally join any server I wanted on Monday but only a few would let me in when I got home yesterday. I updated punkbuster and now I can't seem to join anything. After thinking about it I think the issue might be with servers running different versions of punkbuster and then updating later. That's the only thing that makes sense to me to explain why the problem would just resolve itself. Whatever the reason I am not having the problem of getting kicked out shortly after starting to play (I can't even get in). I'm not even getting any specific errors (just generic "you were kicked/disconnected", or "the server didn't respond" messages) the battlelog browser plugin just fails to connect at some point during the process (even when it has gotten to "loading the level" some times). A friend of mine just bought premium yesterday and connects no problem every time so I am at a loss as to what it going on. It's very frustrating since I love the game so much and just spent the money to get premium the day it came out.
