**EDIT** TOURNAMENT HAS ENDED!! Check out our newest tournament: http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/forum/threadview/2832654348070564125/ [battlelog.battlefield.com]
My website, playtowingaming.com, has created a 4x4 Squad Rush Tournament. I'm going to link a video that I made that goes over all of the tournament details, but just know that it's official start date is near May 2nd (not confirmed and most likely will be pushed back a week), and it's geared to be flexible with all schedules. Before I get in too deep, when forming a squad, it's going to be best to choose your teammates based on their schedules of playing. Try to pick people who are typically playing during your normal playing times.
Rather than choosing one date and time, which can make the tournament unplayable to many people, what we're doing is making the Squad Leader's of each team communicate together via PSN to figure out a day and time that works best for them once they figure out who it is their up against. You have 3 days to complete your matches which is what makes things flexible. It's easier to get 8 people together for a match than EVERYONE and that's why I chose to go this direction.
The Map selection will be randomly selected at the time the tournament actually starts. This is to avoid any unfair advantages of teams getting in practice for the first round. The format is simple...4x4 Squad Rush on the selected map in our hosted server. The Attacking team get's 1 point for each M-Comm that get's destroyed, Defending teams don't earn any points. After the first match, teams switch sides and try to out-perform the previous Attacking team. Regardless what the score is for both matches, make a note of the match duration...it's the deciding criteria for a tie-breaker situation. Should both teams tie (either going 0-0, 3-3, or both Attacking teams take all the M-Comm's) the team that had the quickest time get's to choose whether they want to Attack or Defend for the final match. For the Attacking team to win, they MUST take out all M-Comm's, otherwise the win goes to the Defending team. This format benefits the team that performs the best on either side. Attack swift and get your points...or hold your ground and take away all their tickets...being proficient in both areas is key!

Everyone is welcome to play...please share this information to anyone you think might be interested in playing. Also know that as soon as this tournament ends, a new one will be scheduled. There WILL be plenty of future events!!
One last thing...it would make things easier for both you guys and me if we utilized the event's Facebook page simply because it's easier accessed and more instant than putting everything here. Don't get me wrong, please use this thread too...especially if you opt not to use Facebook, but if you do use Facebook:
Link to our Group page which everyone is welcome to join. (It's not a clan, just my site's group page which is home to several ally clans):
