ump was op... and still is op... thou less so with suppression giving bonuses to ++mags and scrubs that cant aim

it has 0 recoil and 0 bullet spread
25 mag is more than enough for 4-5 kills if u come up from behind.... if u cant, just dont use it, and dont ask them to change it

UMP is, since the patch and imo, the best PDW now. I run it with HOLO + Laser.

Learn to drop your primary weapon and switch to your sidearm when your out, if you're good with it you'll get the kill most of the time, or at least suppress them long enough to back off an reload. Always roll in pairs at least, it's best for a squad to stick together if possible. I enjoy tactics and such, not run n' gun, so I'm quite well off with how the UMP is right now.

anyone who can play this game should do okay with the Ump.. even those that could use the AS Val prepatch were the same.. however its always those that can use a weapon that get it changed... (exception being valid glitches)

It's not. It needs a damage buff to be able to compete with the other PDWs.

the ump is perfectly fine.. i hav 1600 kills wit mine.

if you're not using the 93R as PWD, next to your primary weapon, you are doing it wrong.

Get out of here with that mentality. Just because you're good with a weapon, that doesn't mean the weapon itself is good. The UMP-45 is outclassed by the PP-2000 and the PDR.
