I did it a lot back in the PS2 days when the coontrollers where cheap, but now 1 PS3 controller costs 60 bucks so I yeah I've learned not to lol

Solution: take your TV and console to a padded cell. You can throw a shitload times your pad on the walls without fearing for your wallet.

Same here, back when controllers had cords and were like 20 bucks, maybe a toss once and a while would happen, but with these expensive wireless ones, hell no i would never risk 50 bucks in a fit of rage. Oh yeah, another reason, I am an adult now and can control my anger.

i do not break controllers(anymore) now that they cost 60 bucks........but i did punch the screen on my mac(after losing 5 million in play chips) playing poker, when i was drunk once!! lol btw that mac screen cost me 500 bucks......
