Game disconnected: your connection to the server timed out. Ever since the last patch this has been happening and I have tried every fix for it, only happens with bf3 I know my connection is great are they going to address this or not bother like they have been doing with the black loading screen freeze

I FACE THE SAME PROBLEM NOW AND THEN! Don't know when it will end. Did all remedies out there in the internet, yet no effect. :(

same here, can play for a bit then everyone else just runs at the place, i can still move for like 5secs, then i get dc with the same error message

Come on EA Corporate these are common issues. I have the same problem. I get a black screen between games telling me the next game is loading but doesn't. It continually remains loading and freezes there doing nothing. I have to manually disconnect and then reconnect to the game server.

Yup. Same problem, and I'm on console.
Do you have explosives in your pants? Because I can C4 myself in them.

I disabled firewall and still running into this issue. It is definitely something at Server side -- not client side.

Yup, same issue - started after the patch. I can go a day sometimes and no issues... then bang, every match I get the error.

The patch also introduced the "Battlefield 3 has stopped working" error when I exit the game. Bonus!

Yup, reloaded Win7, reinstalled BF3 - and although I was able to play an entire match, it finally ended in this error - which = "Your connection to the server timed out" for me. Time to find another game.

I have the same problem error connection timed out d/c i get about a game and then it will do it and i have to reconnect :(

Seems as though the only response will be to a Mass litigation paper....I've had this bug from patch day as well and have been reading the forums everyday since hoping for a response from EA / DICE not one answer. 10K in posts about this and no response, they got your money early for a exclusive beta test that was open to everyone the next day, they talked about the great destructible environment, most buildings you still can't destroy, then they talked of the longevity of the game with ranking and weapons, then opened all unlocks for sale. you really think they will fix this problem without some large group action?...they smoked you and took your money....

Have tried everything- upnp fix- port forward- firewall of- ran in dmz- ssdp off in srvcs and on router- called isp hard reset modem- no luck- reinstall game and punkbuster- reatore win 7 to point in feb when game ran fine-new router cables- ran wielessly- Note that the game ran fine from x-mas till just before the last major update in may-- open ticket with ea.help april 05-12- explained all I did, was told that is more than level 1 support even tries, needs to go "expert" support will contact me in 7-10 days, may be try punkbuster in mean time, "possible" PB issue- spend 2 weeks and 20 pages of emails, logs and reinstalls, not a pb issue- after 12 days call ea for status update, servers down, can't find ticket- call next day. I am asked WHY am I calling? if I call like this my ticket gets put back to the front of the line, explain that it has been 2 weeks since I spoke with someone that said 7-10 days and was more or less told they lied to me and not to call back, THEY'LL call me Then i get this for chat the next time I contact them approx 5-11

This over 40 days- (I think there timely manner means when bf4 is released)
If someone wanted to start a Class action suit I think I would even pony up $200 just to help retain the attorney.

I've had this problem since day 1, I even stopped playing for a couple months... but thought hey, maybe they've finally fixed it...

Guess again, I wont be spending any more money on add ons, premium crap or anything else to do with BF3 until this problem is resolved...

Seriously, if you google this error, pages upon pages of results come up with no official word or offered solution besides "try re-installing" which doesn't work...

I get it too.. EA has always been a game-killer! But BF2 went so well so i thought i'd try BF3 also. Big mistake.

I think EA has a deeply organized and planned way to handle games and the future investments in support there of. Usually EA games is dead after 1 year in action, either caused by the community loosing patience or cuz of too many useless expansion packs, totally splitting up the remaining community.
