i get an error when i try to download the new browser plug in. i havent play battlefield in a while. the error is

system.componentmodel.win32exception: the system cannot find the
file specified
at
system.diagnostics.process.startwithshellexecuteex
at system.diagnostics.process start()
at system.diagnostics.process.start(processstartinfo startinfo)
at system.diagnostics.process.start(string filename, string
arguments)
at mydowloader.ieplugin.iemd.downloadurl(string url)

can anyone help me. this error actually comes up on some occasions with other things but hasnt been a problem

dunnoes dude google it maybe you might get something there. i has some issues earlier but nothing like that. sorry man.

You know what's funny? I reinstalled the game last night because DICE/EA messed up the files, installed the PB manual then everything work fine now.

P.S. - Netcode/Client Hit Register is still down. FUCK!

Use another browser like Chrome or Firefox.
Make sure IE is up to date.
Disable any IE plugins that may be causing the error

Not sure but you may to try in firefox to see if it has a problem. Also might try disabling AV while installing. Make sure battlelog is on the trusted sites list.

Ok, follow these directions very carefully. Do not skip or add any steps.

1. Uninstall.

step one throw out your battlefield 3 dvd
step two buy a new copy of bf 3 XD

cool figured it out. i used google crome to download and it worked fine. for some reason internet explorer wouldnt work with it

Internet explorer is really only good for one thing: Downloading another browser.
