I have bought premium; I received an email confirmation and it shows up that I bought premium in origin when i click the "i" icon under Battlefield 3 in the library. I thought I downloaded it, but when I go to join a server with a CQ map running, it says I have not done so and to open Origin and do so. However, origin will not let me dl CQ. Anyone else with this problem?

CQ is still locked. Not released yet.

That 2GB Update was the new updates. All buying the DLC does is unlock it for your account

Indeed. Once the CQ goes live you won't have to download it. You will just have to get the key to unlock the gate :P
