Same here, just re-formatted installed fresh drivers 5/22/2012 and getting same dam crap ............................................. :(
habe you all been on the nvidia forums and ask for a fix yet?
Only premium people have premium. Now fetch me my weapon poor people.
nope is it a driver error? i have a 8800gts if it means anything
Another one to the list, i got the same problem, using 2 gtx 560 on SLI, Vista X86, 8Gb Ram, nothing overclocked and getting the "DirectX Function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED" error.. cant finish any game... its a shame to pay for a game and dont be able to play it when i got all the requeriments on the box.
must be the game somehow thought it would only crash in stadard edition so I changed to Premium today but same problem wit gtx690
DirectX Function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED. Hardware device removed..GPU: "Nividia Geforce GTX 560", Driver: 30142. This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; try installing the latest drivers. Also make sure you have a supported graphics card with at least 512 MB.
I reinstalled the latest drivers. Have DirectX 11. IDK?
This has never happened before.
Be sure to have the latest DX installed - http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35
Intel i5 2500K @ 4Ghz, Asus P8P67 Evo, 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz, 120GB OCZ Vertex 3, Sapphire ATI Radeon R9 280X Toxic OC, 650W BeQuiet Gold, Thermaltake Armor, Win 7 64Bit HP, XL2411T 24" 144Hz Gaming Monitor
i have installed 290.53....now it works
because i already have had the latest DX installed
I got the same error/message but I can resolve it if I run the game in single GPU (i have a Gtx590) but sometimes the game gets choppy with sigle gpu, I need to play with dual. Has anyone solved this?? My drivers are 301.42
i had the same error last night and since i hadn't been using xfire i decide to close it and that fixed for me
the same happens here
its like that battelfild would not help
Kaffe <3 !
Same problem. Still no word by anyone on what to do to fix this or any attempt at all from anyone to help. The hell is the technical help forum for then?
a friend of mine just "cured" his problem by uninstalling MSI Afterburner.

Same problem here, i have a GTX 550TI
I got an AMD Radeon 6770, same error.
Even though in the game it's running on 60fps I still crash, any solution? I'll try contacting live support
I have this issues with the GTX 680. Installation of BF3 repaired, drivers multiple changed (from 306.97 to 310.33 BETA and down again to 301.42), DirectX updated, nothing worked for me.
With the 301.42 there arent so many DirectX-Errors, but the game crashes more often without announcement. Game also minimizes to taskbar and won´t get to Fullscreen again.
