Versus airvehicles, youre better off bailing out from the AA jeep.
Versus armor however... the ANTI-AIRCRAFT jeep excels roflmao

Wait for everyone in your team to use up the enemy heli's countermeasures, then proceed to fire away with aa missiles.

The Anti-AA jeep is very similar. Stick 6 blocks of C4 to the bumper, drive with XBox controller, bail and detonate. One of the reasons I always use guided round with tanks.

As an air whore there is one thing I have noticed. They often go left alone when they aren't engaging targets they shouldn't be, as the vehicle is very situational. If I was to give an idea on how I feel it best used, I would say you push forward, maybe through sidelines. Secure an area on the ground, close to your air target and start working on him with AA missiles. They cycle much faster then the previous MAA AA missiles do. They are similar to those on the artillery.

Now I am not proud to say this but during 6-8h of gameplay yesterday I will admit I was shot down by those jeeps more then anything else. We definitely killed more of those jeeps then they killed us, but anytime an enemy entered one near me or made it around the sides and got within 400m give or take 50. I would die to the missiles. There was no time i successfully escaped the missiles from close range, they have around a 550m range total and you need to be close to 650m from the launch point to successfully cycle ECM again.

Sad thing is those who tried to shoot me down with it tried so directly with such little strategy they were killed immediately, but the few who closed the distance before letting me know I was there target managed to get me down.

I do think its underpowered vs the air but I have no opinion on what should be done. I don't think it deserves any direct buffs to survivability. it lacks killing capability, but the lock ons are already very effective if used properly (best in the entire game rivaling artillery) and the rocket pods are a slim chance of hitting. What is sad though, is even if you manage to hit me with a pod its something like 25% damage. air vehicles shouldn't be rivaling tanks in armor. Thats a joke.

as i said before EG was out... this vehicle will suck and only be good vs scout helis and enemy tanks
they suck hard vs choppers and harder vs jets.
i didnt play the conquest maps much but are there normal MAA's in there ? i didnt see anything

I would argue they should prolly be OHK versus the helo (with the unguided rockets). They are easy to kill, but like Roadkill says, if you adapt to take advantage of it's crazy fast missle reload time then it is very effective.

for some reason against scout helicopters, two AA missiles only disables the scout heli where the first one will disable it and it seems like the second does absolutely nothing

Sure man, the heli-abusers I see are hovering over water and out-of-border terrain, try to close that distance as inf/groundvehicle.

I hover, and there's only 1 map you can hover over water on :/

Besides I didn't deny it was underpowered to begin with. Anyway if they are over water they have no choice but to come closer or seat switch for extinguisher, chances are they will kill you before the do either though.

The only change I might suggest would be to make the dumbfire rockets have a higher velocity. They are slower than a fricking turtle climbing a hill. Making them travel faster would make them a more viable use for close range anti-air.

....sure man, keep dreaming.
You can hovercamp on 400m alt over out-of-border terrain on any map. And many flags are near out-of-border-terrain.

Heli-exploiting = no skill.
