ASUS VG248QE: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B2HH7G0/?tag=twitchtv90n1n-20 [amazon.com]

or

BenQ XL2420TE: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00D7IG556/?tag=twitchtv90n1n-20 [amazon.com]

Both 144Hz, 1ms although the BenQ has anti-flicker. The BenQ should be slightly better but considerably more expensive.

Between the xl2411t and the vg248qe
http://pcmonitors.info/others/benq-xl2411t-vs-asus-vg248qe [pcmonitors.info]
TLDR buy the asus

The VG248qe and the xl2420te use the exact same panel in the monitor as a result they perform exactly the same, so whichever you can get cheaper buy.

I love my vg248qe

isnt the 2411 the "older" benQ model ?

I hear the 2420 is much better

Owned the VG278H and the XL2720T. In all honesty, they really didn't look much different. I give a slight edge to the BenQ because I do find the BlackEQ helpful if you want to see in dark areas without blowing out the light areas. In the end, I returned the Asus for this reason, but even more because the build quality and contoller on the BenQ were really nice. But if you're more money conscious, I would go with the cheaper option.

uhm is the Asus endorsed by PRO gamers ?

thought not ...

Haha, that because the BenQ came out before the Asus :)

I purchased the Asus VG24QE about 2 months ago. It's been fantastic for me. I'm in the process of buying two more. It was a massive upgrade from my Acer 23" 60hz monitor. I've never used a BenQ monitor, but i've heard they're tremendous as well. Given that they both have great reviews, you can't really go wrong with either. The Asus at the cheaper price tag made it a no brainer for me.

Nobody needs 1ms response time or 144 hz. Get a Dell U2913WM and you'll know what gaming on a great monitor means.
