'You are missing content from the game'

Game disconnected: you are missing content from the game.

Care to explain to me what this error actually means? I bought the limited edition from EB Games in Australia when it was on preorder and I've been playing on other servers with the Karkand maps.

I understand first day jitters, but this type of error doesn't even make sense...

- I updated my punkbuster
- Restarted both my browser and Origin itself many times
- Cleared my cache/cookies on my browser

Sometimes I can join servers, others I cant. To me personally it looks like server-side punkbuster needs to be updated, not client side.

So, has anybody found any fixes that actually fix this?

Had the same problem- I ran the "check for updates in Origin" and now it works.


Note--- I have only tested Gulf of Oman, so I dont know if it works all over.

I have tried absolutely everything. I've got into about four games, my stats in those games didn't save and I was kicked from two, one had major rubber banding and one's server crashed. Every other game I've tried I've received the missing content message.

DICE sure does care about the PC community. :DDDDDDDDDDDDDD

it is strange to me as well, some of servers I can play, but some of them I can not play.
Totally no idea what happened.

Maybe it caused by some of new maps?

It's only happening in Karkand for me.

I can play some Karkand games, but otherss I cant. But I can go into every single normal map with ease... Sucks :/

Cockup after cockup from EA... anyone found a solution for this?

sign out-sign in usually works,if not try reinstalling battlelog plugin

I am still having this problem.. bought the game 5 days ago, still cannot play BtK...

check the battlefield box in server filter
refresh servers, refresh browser
