i Have i way to Fix it.

1) uninstall your PB and delete the PB folder from Battlefield 3, and close battlefiled, battlelog, or origin.
2) reinstall PB. ( you can install PB with the setup that appears in BF3 folder : pbsvc.exe in :"C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 3")
3) download and open PB setup(http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php) [evenbalance.com] go to add game, Search for Battlefield 3,make sure the Game folder Location its the same that appears in "Game path". click in add. (defalt : C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 3 )
4) click in BF3 and than click in Check for Updates ( DONT OPEN THE GAME ! )
5) after that finish, Reboot the PC ( DONT OPEN THE GAME ! )
6) after the Reboot run origin, and run the game.
7) Wait for 5 minutes and see that you has no longer been kicked.

it works for me.

To be honest in a game that you pay money for, users shouldn't have to come up with ways to play it.

That's the developing team's job!

Thanks for the initiative mate. Hope this works, trying to play right now.

This works! Basically reinstall PB. The most important steps are the restarts. Do note that for this whole process it's probably better that origin isn't running because this is a punkbuster issue.

So...

1. shut down origin

2. uninstall punkbuster (through program manager)

3. go to the BF3 folder and delete the folder named "pb"

4. restart the PC.

5. shut down origin if it automatically launches (Might not be a necessary step, but I'm paranoid)

5. go to the BF3 folder, then look go through the folders __Installer ->punkbuster ->redist.

6. if you're in the right folder, you should see a program called "pbsvc.exe" RUN IT, let it do its thing.

7. Follow the steps for manual upgrade. (download pbsetup.exe from evenbalance.com, run it, add BF3, then select BF3 inside pbsetup then click check for updates)

8. after updating, restart your pc.

9. play. At this point I stopped getting the error.

uninstall isn't necessary.
just install the punkbuster updater tool
(somehow PB can't update itself automatically)
choose what game would you like to update, update them, restart PC and there you go....

On a Side Note (As I have gotten the PB disconnect error messages)..

Doing the manual updated has stopped all the "Error: Disconnected from Server" and "Lost connection to EA (1)" errors I was receiving. I still get stuck on the black loading screen on map changes, but am able to close out and rejoin immediately, unlike before.

Worked so far, was able to start the round and play for five minutes without getting kicked.

Could it be that there is no pb version for a win64 system? On the said site there's only downloads for the win32 version.

worked on my friend who had this problem instead, but if it is the memory issue then this might not work. If it does then good for you!
