Locate the pbsvc.exe in your Battlefield 3 Game Folder. Run it, then reboot your system. Play.

Remeber when you update or reinstall PB with pbsetup.exe and pbsvc.exe you need to reboot your system.

Looks like a pb update is currently running, try to update your game client via pbsetup / reboot machine and everything should work again.

i ran the pbupdate and rebooted. still the same problem.. sigh. does it have anything to do with the latest windows update? my game was running fine until i updated windows 7.
<update> i uninstalled the latest windows 7 update and still the problem is there. com'on... is there a quick fix to this? obviously there are alot of people having the problem!!

I'm getting it as well =/. As soon as the game finishes loading, I get the same error.

same problem here. 4 friends of mine had the same problem at the same time... We cant even get in to a server. Already updated the pbsetup,reinstalled as administrator, pc restart, nothing works...
