hello everybody! The boys at Championship Gaming League have put up a 5v5 infantry only conquest league.(no vehicles just boots on the ground!)

Here are some of the rules.

BANNED EQUIPMENT AND WEAPONS
There are no class limitations.
No Mortars
No Tactical Flashlights
No IRNV Scopes
No Explosive Ammo( i.e. frag rounds for shotguns)
No MAV's
No m320's (i.e. no frag rounds buck and smoke is good.)

it's still in the preseason and sign up goes until week 4. so you have till April 29, 20012 to get in there. oh yeah and there are prizes to be had.(check thecgl.com for more information on prizes.) and those that sign up after it start have the option to make up any missed matches.

If you're interested at all in 5v5 Infantry Only Conquest, might I also suggest ESL Versus. It is an efficient pick-up game system with hundreds of active players. The servers are all European, but with the clientside hit detection it's easily playable. You also have the ability to party up and join with a group of friends, which is even more enjoyable.

the esl vs. is cool and all but it's not a league. more like a pug. but fun none the less.
