1 shot tank kills

Now before you start flaming, i know if you put c4 on a tank and then it gets hit it can be a one shot kill. But when you drive a tank from the uncap, and nobody gets near enough to plant c4, then an enemy tank takes you out with one shot! something aint right. It has happened to me tonight, 4 times in 3 different servers. This seems only since the patch. Anyone else seeing this? If so EA need to sort this shit out!

Im pretty sure you got taken down by the TV missile from choppers.

Kornet launchers can take out tanks in one shot from behind. Maybe tanks with cannister shells can do the same if they use cannister then switch to main turret really quick it can seem like one shot?

canister shell doesnt do dmg to tank, and I havent seen tank 1 shot kill

Since the last patch, tanks frequently explode after just one hit.
It not always clear what caused it, ( ie tv missile, javelin etc.. ).
The attempt to re-balance the tank, as made it one of the most fragile units on the battlefield.
The DLC - Armoured Kill was looking interesting, however, tanks in their current form, will not see me buy it.

I've had insta-kills from tress and parked cars while in the tank. 100% health to dead "bad luck". In a tank !!!!

I swear I had one that just spontaneously combusted on me aswell. Siene crossing, no lock, no rpg trail/hit, mines nothing. Nothing but a big Bad-Fu*k you-Luck.

I´ve ``almost`` done one hit kills whilst driving tanks.

using the lock on missile and poping main gun instantly and profit

You know they turned tank whoring into more of a skill now...

People in these games just think Jets, IFVs and Tanks are opportunity for free kills only to abandon them after they get disabled... Stupid

I got bad luck before in a tank. it was a admin that killed me fair play though it was infantry only, i just didnt realise but at the time i went beserk as you probibly know lol.

My tank has also bin destroyed with 1 hits from a main gun of MBT many times on a single server by 1 player i was convinced he was cheating also considering it was taking me 4-5 hits to disable him on his top, then boom 1 shot DESTROYED or if im lucky disabled. hardly fair.

Yeah tanks are bugged, sometimes (more often than it should) you get 1 shot insta-destroyed by lock on rockets, when it should take 2 shots if you have 100% health. And I had been destroyed by another tank main weapon in 2 shots to the FRONT of my tank, that happen if you shot the back of the tank not the front.

Well, whenever I shoot a speedint up tank at 100% health it always get 1 shot disabled (I aim for the turret but other times too so no idea) maybe a bug

Tanks should not be like this with its armor as weak as glass. Get the old tanks back

kornets are 2 shots from the back.. only tv missiles are one shot since the patch..


and yes i did some testing on empty unranked server with some mates

Same thing happened to me, I caught another tank shooting at something else, hit it a few times, guy finaly wakes up, turns and one shot.....boom. no mines,c4 or anyone else involved. This has only ever happened once so I'm not too worried about it.

it happen be for patch and it is same as jet snipe= hack ! confirmed

chalk it up to the same thing that makes tanks turrets twitch around like MJ fox was on the mouse.......

What I have found to be repeating itself is, that if a tank is rushing towards you and you shoot him, it will be a 1 hit disable even on the front (90% of times)

never had this happen.
i have had jeeps swapping over kill me (ie, russian jeep blows up after US takes flag so US jeep can spawn...i was IN the russian jeep), but never had my tanks randomly explode on me though.

I've learned this happens more often when using Turbo and getting hit.
