Rent a Server Ruined DICE servers.

Alot of Rented servers are fucking horrible... I think many would agree. But now the official DICE servers are becoming intolerable, it is becoming really rare to find a single person that even bothers to PTFO in DICE servers. Maybe it's my poor luck, but if I join a rented server I get kicked for no apparent reason. If I play DICE servers no one plays objectively and it becomes a massive uphill struggle to win even 1 game.

Yeah same here got banned for three servers one after another all because i shoot the admin of the server. Dice this shound be looked at in a big way or this game is going to fall at the bottom of my pile.

Yip, the lunatics have taken over the asylum.

The fine balance of gameplay that DICE has been striving for has been destroyed by 1000 ticket 24/7 map servers.
Now the biggest challenge of the game is about finding a server to play on. EA servers have all but gone, and the DICE
servers with their mixed gameplay rotation are nearly as bad as the rent-a-server crowd.

How do you know you got banned for shooting the admin? Did they write you an email explaining that? Or maybe they kicked you to make room for a friend. Or maybe they HAD to ban you in order to get on their own server.

My name is pretty hilarious to most people.... Just today, I joined a rented server, got kicked within 3 seconds of joining. I thought I disconnect but then it said I was kicked by Admin.

All the DICE servers here are still up and running! All I need to do is go to the search place, type dice, and voila! Tons of dice servers with people who don't know anything other than playing the objective!

And then when I DO join a private server, its admins don't kick people for random stuff!

Well at least I have 4 servers favorite'd that has either CQ/CQA or a good mixture of CQ and Rush. Oh and I have the DICE servers on my favorite list too, so O_o

I guess we should probably give it some time BUT I am not as fond of Rentals as I thought I would be. The concept is cool but having to wade through all the garbage servers to find a decent game and then to be kicked so a buddy can play or for playing well... not cool. OK if you pay for a server you should control it. But maybe there should be some limitations on Admin kicking. Maybe a player is allowed to finish the game before being kicked. At least the player should be allowed to finish the game.

I found DICE servers with a search but most were crammed full. There needs to be an easier way to find standard servers and the kicking should be watched/evaluated.

I've found some pretty decent EA/DICE servers by doing a search of these terms.

P243 (can't be certain, but it's something to this effect)

The one thing I hate is that I joined a server the other and the admin were kicking ppl that we're killing them or getting more points DICE has ruined this game by doing rent a server the patch was good but the server ting is annoying I want the normal dice servers bk. sori for the rant

My buddy's server is great. 300% tickets, all big maps and hardcore. If DICE ever let us take off the mini-map AND knock the health down to 20% without making it unranked it's gonna be on!

I agree that renting servers have ruined the DICE servers. Simply because IMO it makes the game much easier as people can play the same map for an hour or maybe over and over again. If a good player ended up with the opposite team as noobs, then racking up points would be extremely easy.

cant even search for dice servers in the browser anymore as most are fakes created by admins to appear to be DICE servers

Guys seriously don't complain about something we can settle ourselves. Personally I don't play on rented servers unless its really late at night and I know most probably admin is offline. As for during the day use the SEARCH function on server browser, then type DICE or SERVER for the official EA servers. Its also worth bearing in mind that there at least 40 pages of empty rented servers, so badly admin'd servers are going to crash and burn pretty damn fast.

Edit: Oh yeah check the owner of the server before you join, its the people that try to fake the offical looking server titles you need to worry about

I used to do that in BC2 on Heavy Metal. The game would end and I'd back out and hop back into to another game of Heavy Metal. I don't see a problem with giving people the option to play the maps they want. I used to hate backing out of Metro and the other super small maps and try to get my buds in my Fire Team again. Now it's big maps all day all the time with a shit ton of tickets so I have time to enjoy them a lot more.

I've been kicked from servers three times in three days. These admins are waiting till right before the game ends then booting everone who they don't like. This is extremely frustrating, expecially on high ticket games which you've been playing for an hour or more. I guess they think it's funny to rob someone of their stats. If an admin opens a server to the public then they should not be allowed to force team switch, or kick players unitl the game has ended and we are in the game lobby. Rent-a-server has wasted what was a balanced and fair game.

There definitely need to be more DICE (and even EA) official servers and at least some more reliable filtering options for those only wanting to play on official servers. I would also prefer some of the DICE servers to have one game mode - all map playlists. Have had mixed experiences so far playing on rented servers, some are worthy additions to my favourites list, some get removed pretty quickly...

I only filter within Europe as am based in UK. I have no experience on whether lag would preclude a good result joining US servers for instance.

Rented servers absolutely crap. You start winning by all fair means, take the top of the board and you get kicked out. This is spoiling a great game.

Had this happened to me, a filter for normal servers is required!

I don't mind a variety of maps, but I have joined 3 rented servers and been kicked by all 3. 2 for what I can only assume as being too good (I was in the MVP spot when kicked) then other one I was booted for using the USAS-12. One of the guys in the admins squad was using it on my least favourite map Metro, so I returned USAS fire (Slug rounds not Frag). He kicked me, I messaged him and he said USAS = Kick. I accepted that, but I replied that his squad-mate was using it to.. He didnt reply. Thats why I avoid playing in rented servers.

People pay to rent servers. If you don't like the rental servers play different game modes. TDM and both Squad games are mostly populated by EA/Dice servers.

I choose EA/DICE servers through server browser. But some of these EA/DICE servers are full of low-level idiots who can't pilot, drive or man the gunner seat. Or they are full of idiots who don't PTFO. I accidentally joined 3 rented servers and got kicked by all 3. I don't mind them renting a server, just dont be an asshole admin.
