The glorious future of the M16A3

So, I've been thinking about this for a long time now and here is my plan: Why not remove every weapon from the Assualt class except the M16A3? I mean as everyone uses only this weapon no other weapons are really needed on the battlefield. More weapons than just one confuse the players, why have a huge variety? Most people won't even notice the difference and Dice would have less work, because they wouldn't have to make patches that balance the assault rifles anymore. Great idea, isn't it? Sorry about the fact that my English may not be perfect.

i use the aek-971 and the an-94.

I find KH2002 better, and use M16A3 to balance myself lololol

really? maybe you should look at my top assault weapons and tell me where the one "everyone uses" is located.

and everyone who knows how to use any of the other ARs can beat M16 users ass.

M16 - easy to learn how to use properly and the reward is decent
High RoF ARs - hard to learn over longer ranges but rewarding after you do.
High ACC/Low RoF/high damage - same as High RoF after you learn how to use them in CQB they can beat M16 users easily.

so no it doesn't make the game any more simpler if you take every other rifle away than M16

Even if DICE removed EVERY weapon except one they'd still find a reason to nerf it and fuck it up.

M16A3 = Number One !

I meant it ironically with the suggestion to take away any other AR, but I don't really like the fact that this is the most overused gun the game. It makes the game so boring when most people just use this gun in up to every situation including the ones where tons of other ARs would be better. And I actually know how to beat a M16A3 user. But I could open a casino where I accepts bets on what weapon shows up next in the killfeed and could make a lot of money out of it...

Only weapons that was getting out of hand was G3A3/DART (or MASS).

perhaps you need to play on some different servers.

Cool story bro, especially because M16a3 is the best weapon in the game right now

a good player with the m16a3 will always beat any other gun in a direct 1vs1

Yep, m16a3 is ridiculously unbalanced. High ROF, extreme accuracy, low recoil, 25 dmg up-close.
You can be terrible at aiming and still become a god with this weapon.

F2000 is still superior in CQB, AEK is still beastly accurate despite the recoil, and the AN-94 is also beastly in the hands of someone who knows how to use it (such as myself :P).

Nonsense, The AK-74 is better...in my opinion. and so are many of the other AR´s.

The only reason people like the m16a3 so much, is because it´s a good allround weapon, decent at all ranges that are suitable for AR´s in this game.

If you compare it to the AK-74, the m16 will beat the ak at close range (if you look at the stats, the ROF should mean it is the better weapon in close combat), but the AK WILL beat it at longer ranges, beacause the accuracy is so much better.
