Just wondering how you pilots try to mark targets for gunners when you cant talk to them and often writing gets a bit difficult while being in a "hot" zone.
I for one often try to look where the gunner is looking and try to line up shots for tv missiles etc.
Example: Pilot lifts the choppers nose up as an indicator for an tv missile strike.
Anyone else got similar systems/praxises?
I play in a clan, I never really have this problem a lot.
But here's my best suggestion : Mash the spot key like your life depends on it (It often does)
If I see a lot of enemies gathered in one area and want my gunner to lay waste to them, I try to slow down to a hover and sort of "aim" the chopper so where the gunner is looking lines up with it. If he has a brain, he'll shoot them and I'll carry on with my flying before we stay there for too long.
Tis easy - fly low and slow over a "safe" area with lots of enemy targets - if your gunner doesnt fire a shot or doesnt kill a thing, then dont bother lining up for him - as hes obviously blind ;)
theres no Darts or AEK's in the gunners seat. So mines usually empty
i never get a gunner that uses flares, unless im playing with a friend ofc
