I've noticed that a lot of you have PC's designed with suboptimal components. You call it "smart-buying" or whatever, but in the end you simply end up with a system that struggles with gaming.
For example, never replace and Intel cpu with AMD. Also, never substiture a Radeom GPU for Nvidia - why would you even think of it? It's been proven multiple times that Nvidia is more specific to increasing game quality.
Also, don't ever go lower than a GTX 570TI, otherwise it is a joke.
In terms of monitors, don't cheap out with Asus, LG, Magnavox crap - that's for people who don't make as much money but still wanna enjoy large cheap screens. Stick with Samsung or Sony.
Let me know if you have any other questions in designing a PC for BF3.

Thank you for your concern.
Where are the days we once held so loose in our sure hands? When did these racing streams carve depthless caves beneath our feet? In the places where youth shall meet, the land of our proud dreams. Where among all you before me, are the faces I once knew?

Yes, I have one - when are you going to actually learn about PC's?
Sounds like you are a plumber trying to "break into " the computer world - actually, strike that - I think a plumber with no PC experience would give better advice than you

Some people have more important things to spend money on than computer parts, apparently.

AMD CPUs are not normally as cost effective as intel at this point, but they don't struggle much with games.
AMD GPUs are on par with their nVidia counterparts. As a matter of fact I own one (unlocked 6950).
I've owned LG, Sony, and ASUS monitors, and I'm most happy with ASUS at this point. Quality brand.
The components I'm NOT happy with include:
My CPU heatsink — A Noctua NH-D14 is way over the top for a sandybridge CPU. Waste of money.
My Motherboard — I don't know why I was dumb enough to buy a Fatal1ty motherboard, but I definitely paid for the name.

I had an amd 955be which run the game fine and have since upgraded to a I7 2600k and i can honestly say it dont make a blind bit of difference in the game.
Gaming isn't the only thing your computer can do. If you were completely unconcerned with anything but gaming and value, you might have been better off upgrading to an i3.
The i7 was certainly not a good choice from a value perspective. It's not much better for gaming than the i5 2500k.

AMD = FAIL!
AMD is for poor people
Report me for speaking the truth. You're a winner...and more than likely an AMD fanboi who's feelings I hurt.
