I am also experiencing no end to the problems with this game, sometimes it gets stuck on "loading level" but must of the time it just gets stuck on "connecting". There are other pcs on my home network that have no issue with the game so i am really stumped on this one, i have tried reinstalling, repair installing, restarted pc countless times.

As of now i am losing patience with this game, especially as i recently bought premium.

Here you go guys my convo with so called tech support.....

You are now ready to chat with Rohitashv.
Rohitashv:
Thanks for contacting EA Help! My name is Rohitashv how may I help you?
you:
yes i was just wondering what i should do
you:
i direct downloaded bf3 and didnt realize that the integrated intel graphics card was unsupported
Rohitashv:
Okay.
Rohitashv:
That is indeed upsetting.
you:
it will give me not responding messages, sometimes it will let me join a map but its unfinished slow and then just quites. in campian it loads the logos then freezes
you:
ive even gotten ribions from a black screen because i was on the winning team even though i couldnt do anything
Rohitashv:
Please upgrade your system so that you can play the game without any issue.
you:
ha your funny the only way i can upgrade is to buy a new computer. and i just bought this one
you:
already tryed updating drivers there as up to date as they get
Rohitashv:
Without the right compatible graphic card you wont be able to play the game properly and issues like crashing, freezing and lags will be there.
you:
soo what your saying is that i wasted my money
Rohitashv:
No just that you need to upgrade the system to make it compatible for the game.
Rohitashv:
You just need to purchase a new graphic card not the whole system
you:
thats not going to happen i am deployed and over seas i am a soldier in the United States Army this is the only computer i have and i cant just run out and buy an upgrade so I wasted my money
Rohitashv:
I wish there was some other alternative for this issue.
Rohitashv:
May I please have your name for our database?
you:**************
Rohitashv:
Thank you **********
Rohitashv: I wish I could help but theres nothing you can do without an upgraded graphics card
you: you know dont worry about it in a year or so ill be able to play it i guess
you: thx for your help im sure a hacker out there will figure it out before EA
Rohitashv:
I really wish I could do something for this issue.
Rohitashv:
Thank you for contacting EA. Is there anything else I can help you with today?

Game wont start, Stuck at joining a server, (bf3.exe runs in system tray, tho nothing happens). Tried every suggested solution, wont help. Btw, It was working on monday. Since yesterday its bugged. This is an error that ruins the game pretty much for me. Im sad that they didn't take it seriously.

Feels like I've tried everything.

It used to launch fine on the 2nd try, now after CQ 3rd and 4th tries don't even work sometimes. It either just closes with no message or sometimes shows the following:

Could not communicate with running game. Please make sure it was not launched outside of the web.

Which means absolutely nothing.

Also clicking "Reconnect" shows the following: Could not join this server: it's not there anymore.

I was able to fix the issue of the game not running, it hasn't been addressed here on this thread, so here.

I play on my Asus laptop.
Windows 7 64 bit
ATI mobility Radeon HD 5870
CORE i7

Game runs smoothly on nearly full settings.

My issue is with my video card updated to the most recent, Battlefield 3 won't run. Battlelog will keep it at initializing, and eventually disappear without opening the game.

After every single freaking (supposed) fix I have seen on this forum, nothing has worked. It turned out to be a problem with my video card. I had to go through this process

Windows tab - search - Device manager
Display Adapters tab - *name of video card*
double click and go to Driver tab.

After this click on "Roll back driver" and it'll take you through the process from there.

The only question now is, if you're willing to deal with the threat of GREEN SCREEN OF DEATH.

Since you are putting your video card BACK out of date, that means whatever problems you may have used to have, will come back. But at least you get to play Battlefield 3? For me it is the green screen of death. If I play long enough, my laptop will simply freeze and I have to restart it, making it too stressful to even play, so I just update my video card again, making it impossible to play the game. Hmm... Also noticed that doing this allowed me to play Minecraft again...

You shouldn't have to go through this process just to play a game, and I kind of wish the creators of this game would take notice. Even with so many people still able to play the game. :(

I'm not sure if this will help anyone(nor am I reading back through pages) but I ran into this problem a few days ago. I went through alot of the said solutions, but today I tried to disable cloud storage and it's been working fine. Every once in a while I have to deal with the "Game already running" but that's easily fixed with the task manager.

So anyone who is having problems try to disable cloud storage on Origin. Hope this helps some.

Too bad i feel like i wasted money, for buying a game that does not even work. I hope DICE is working on the problem.
