The following information has been taken from the EA Help Article which can be found here [help.ea.com].Content:
We are aware that some players are experiencing a problem where their in-game stats and experience are not being recognized towards their progression on Battlelog or in-game. While we are working to resolve this issue we have also identified what can cause this problem to occur.
This issue only affects games in which a player uses the FAMAS weapon. In any game where the FAMAS is used there is a chance that player stats and experience will not be recognized after the game. We are temporarily recommending that players avoid using the FAMAS and spread the word to fellow players to avoid the problems this error can cause.
This advisory and problem are temporary and we expect to have them soon.

I confirm, the problem real !!

http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/user/z4X0n/ [battlelog.battlefield.com] ther you can see that i was became MAJOR (Rank 43) and goes back, on CAPTAIN (Rank 42), for 3 (three) times!!! Please fix the problem. PLEASE NOTE: I have no use the FAMAS anytime.

its not the famas thow because a person was using it in last game n we got the stats this time

I've unlocked the G36C PKA-3.4 scope 4 times now. Also twice unlocked the Saiga flash suppressor. No famas involved. Pretty annoying as I've only got a few guns to finnish unlocking but I'm stalled out. Last couple of hours wasted :(
Home page shows the multiple unlocks but the weapons page just stalls out. You have to quit the game to re-earn the unlock. It you need 20 kills for an unlock and get 25 kills in a round the weapons page shows no advance. If you get 19 kills in a round the weapons page will move up to 1 shy of the unlock but it ain't going any higher.
The G36C just rolled over. The Saiga flash suppressor also unlocked. Thank you.
Now the USAS and the DOA won't unlock........... baby steps!

On my stats not a single sniper got the stats after game, any other weapon is updated.
for example for mk11 I unlocked PK-A (3.4x) 5 times in 2 days.
Fix this its anoing.

My opiniom is that the problem it's linked to the last unlock of "BACK TO KARKAND" extension. All the troubles are starts when I have finish the "Familiar Territory" assignments and start "Scarred Veteran" assignments. Every time I play on Sharqi or Gulf of Oman maps the problem come out

It's not just the FAMAS, thats pure crap, I have unlocked two scopes for the P-90, and one for the G3 and I have got zippo for it. Where are my unlocks, I bloody worked hard for em, and want em. Hurry up and SORT IT OUT...

I purchased Back to Karkland three days ago and was fine till the 30th then unlocked the FAMAS and got a few kills and nothing logged. I've unlocked it at least three times now in one night.
I've just bought a LED projector and a 72" screen just to play battlefield so very disappointed.
Will the unlocks, XP and kills be restored?

think thats the main issue. Just let us know if we should stop play or if you will update score/locks/kills once this is over.

This game is just a waste of time playing anymore. I spend HOURS unlocking weapon attachments and earning XP just to find out after all those hours I get nothing for it because Dice Fuc**d something up AGAIN!!!. Really Dice???? This just happened, so it was something YOU (Dice) did recently!!!!
FIX IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can be shot with the FAMAS and the game stats will not log. If anyone uses it at any time during the match, the stats won't log for everyone who played, not just you.
It is the FAMAS, trust me.

yeah after some brief reading it appears ANYONE using the FAMAS will make the game stats not save...basically any game from now till they patch it WILL have many FAMAS users :)

well from my experience of many games the famas appears 2 be causing trouble with xp sometimes .thank you EA AGENT 4 you reply 2 my comment ;)

glad i am not the only one!! just emailed them i have lost thousands of XP cause of this issue!!!! and the famas isnt the cause at all i didnt use it hope we get it all back!

Jesus how long can it take to fix? Maybe just quit messing with the XP system, it seems to be beyond you. Otherwise before long we're going to end up having a *Negative-XP Weekend* followed up by a full stats wipe on the w/end after that.

I think xD4DDYx has got it right, if anyone is using a FAMAS in the game your playing then it effects everyone. I unlocked a foregrip on the G3A3 when I couldn't use the FAMAS after I joined another game. I've still got that & didn't see anyone running round with a FAMAS.
Just want to know once it's fixed do we get the XP etc back?

So my question is this, What did you break to cause this? It was working fine then all of a sudden, it's broken. Were they testing the patch to try to fix 1 problem then created 7 more? Sounds about right.

I've also lost thousands of XP Points i've done 2 rankups about 5 times now and its getting really annoying... hope they will give all the xp that was lost and the unlocks etc... we've played long and hard for this...
