We all need to file a class lawsuit against EA.

This isn't the first time EA has tried to scam us. Last time, EA took back their words on giving PS3 players free copies of BF 1943.

Now that they're telling players that we need to pay full price for premium even though some people may have B2K already is basically illegal. No, they did not reduce the price for LE owners already, it was clearly stated that all BF3 players (wih/without B2K) will pay $50 USD with tax.

I'm tired of EA taking advantage of its customers for so long. If we don't step up, they will just keep throwing in dirty tricks to get more money.

How should we do this? Add me as friend and we can stay in contact. We can file a class lawsuit get a lawyer then bring this case to court.

I will never understand people like you. I know when I see myself getting fucked over I tend to steer clear. Sure they should not be doing what they are doing but they are not gonna stop it. Good luck with that lawsuit also, lol. Big companies like that tend to just LoL @ cry baby customers.

If you're calling people like me cry babies, then I assume that you're one of those people who gets taken advantage of in life. If you aren't going to point out the errors in a business or take action, then they will keep doing the same sh*t later on. This is what happened when EA took back their words on giving PS3 owners free copies of BF 1943. EA would've gotten away with it if it weren't for people filing lawsuits against them.

I'm not playing this game because of EA, but because I have been playing BF for a long time. In my point, I am not playing or paying for EA, but because I like the game itself, not the publisher. However, when they try to scam people using this method, it is considered illegal and can be dealt with using legal action.

I can also see why EA is doing this; it's because their stocks aren't doing well so they need a way to make more money and they think they can do so by taking advantage of players.

Well, lets see.

There are 5 DLC

1) Back to Karkand
2) Close Quarters
3) Armored Kill
4) End Game
5) Aftermath

At 15 dollars each, thats 75 dollars for all of them. Premium is 50 dollars. Thats 25 dollars in savings. Even if you bought B2K, that would bring remaining DLC to a price 60 more dollars. 10 dollars savings.

Now be quiet.

On a scale of 1 to Me you rate about a 6 and a half- generously.

What don't people get? It's not the savings that is making it look good. It's the matter of fact that EA never mentioned anything regarding people who already have B2K. They stated that it would be $50 with tax for all players.

Now, people who already have B2K should be getting another discount. The fact is that, there are people who paid for LE edition and got B2K for free. Making those people pay for B2K basically isn't free.

If you buy items in bulks, of course you'll get a discount. This is the same case here. You can't say all the DLC's are worth $15 when EA hasn't released a confirmation. I know several people who contacted support to see if there'll be a discount, the workers at EA support even said that we have to buy B2K again even if we own it, which means it's not free after all.

LIKE I SAID, it's not about savings, it's the matter of fact that EA is pulling off this trick to try and scam people by not posting information about how much each item cost and how they came up with $50. For now, they're blatantly telling people that we have to pay for B2K again, and EA Support even said it.

Also, they did email out BF1943 redemption codes, it basically said "Sorry for the inconvenience, here is a free BF1943 code!", But, since I already had BF1943, I gave the code to a friend of mine. And I honestly don't even remember them saying PS3 got a free Bf1943 with BF3 limited?

Here's one time when EA tried to get more money by advertising something and taking it back.

Here's the article about PS3 users not getting BF 1943. You probably got the code after they heard about the lawsuit.
http://bf3blog.com/2011/11/ea-sued-over-battlefield-1943-pre-order-promise/ [bf3blog.com]

Now, they're hiding in their little hideout and not answering people why they have to pay for B2K again even though they own it.

And if you remember, EA offered a free copy of Dead Space 2 some time ago when people were still pre-ordering, but cancelled it.

At least you aren't one of those sheeps that tells people to stfu because they didn't buy premium and are challenging EA on their decision to charge players for B2K even though they own it.

You do realize that by posting this thread on a forum owned by your target, EA, EA will probably notice this and make necessary preparations in case you guys actually do attempt to file a law-suit, right? I bet that even if EA were unprepared for this, they'd still win the law-suit, mostly on account of the fact that they can afford to win.

It's taking advantage of people by forcing them to pay for B2K twice. I don't know the judicial term for that, but it's more than likely illegal. EA has tried to push this kind of stuff over people's heads before, so I wouldn't be surprised if they did it again.
