It's most definitely not my PC or my internet, it's the servers, whoever EA/DICE hired/allowed to host these servers here in Brazil are clearly not doing a good job.
They seem to be filtering clients from specific internet providers, cause everyone I talked to who had problems like these were from specific ISPS, while other people from another provider have no issue at all.
What it looks like is that this company "HOSTLOCATION LTDA Maxihost Hospedagem de Sites Ltda" is filtering people out since they can't handle the number of clients, since 95% of the servers in Brazil are on the "189.1.174.X" range, they're pretty all on the same place being hosted by the same company.

Since we are not direct clients of said company, but EA/DICE or gameservers are, it's up to you to complain and demand an explanation, they will tell us nothing about the problem, and it's ongoing, annoying, and becoming more and more frequent.

For two months I've fought with the datacenter in Brazil, I sent many proofs showing that their datacenter routers are flawed and they solely ignored everything.

I just gave up. The service is garbage, they don't give f. as long as they are being paid. Typical BR service.

99% of BR servers are at the same datacenter IP range at the same datacenter, as result, I can't play in any of our servers. This happens only in BF3 due this stupid server restriction policy, in other games like CoD I can enjoy servers with good ping times, the only servers with bad ping are the ones hosted at the same datacenter EA/DICE uses here in BR.

Now I can only play in foreign servers, my ping time is lower in USA servers than BR server.

Ping time is fine before entering the game host, when the connection reach the game machine, ping goes skyhigh. This happens to all connections to Maxihost coming from Brazil North using NET Virtua, any other datacenter ping time is fine, just Maxihost shows this problem.

Seems to be traffic shapping @ the datacenter, they are delaying packets during some hours of the day. E.G., some days the ping is over 400ms until the 23 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds of that day, one second after on the change of the day at 00:00:00 the ping time suddenly drops to 60ms. And they still claim they are doing nothing wrong.

Now that it's 10 AM here, nobody playing, the servers are at a steady 20ms.

A perfectly fine time until it reaches the servers, then it goes up to unplayable, and only to a specific IP range, it leaves us with little to think other than that the host is purposely doing something on their end, since other ip ranges can access the server with no issues.
