I've noticed more and more people using autism as a form of insult: You're stupid because of it, stuff like that.
But I have also noticed autistic people using it for their own gain.
I have noticed people saying: "I'm autistic so I don't have to do what you say." or "I'm autistic." as an excuse.
There is no excuse. You said or did something that hurt somebody;
don't learn to avoid it, learn to solve it and not to do it again. But most of all, fellow autistic people, know this:
You are no lesser, and no worse. You are equal. Nothing will change that, unless you don't believe it.
Don't think of yourself as disabled.
