Why no battlepacks, short reason I don't have time to sit around and wait for a battlepack that for example contains a red dot sight I want to use for my m4
when I want to unlock it I want it NOW!.

please share your reason for why Battlepacks shouldn't exist in the final release, not a creative post but, get straight to the point please.
I've been playing the beta for 24hrs already, and I find battlepacks stupid, red dot is only for this and that. Dice come on, are you trying to
keep us away from unlocks?

Don't think there are any red dot sights in the battlepacks. Only green sights.
As long as they don't make it so you have to pay to get them, I think it will be okay.

I can confirm to you that I've unlocked some battlepacks and one of them contained a Coyote red dot sight only for a pdw

I like the way battlepacks work out, every time you open them it's random what you get.

It's nice thing, also they can't cancel it since they already added it to preorder, so it would be scam.

You are right. I got a Coyote red dot for Scar-H which I forgot about.

I swear people here get more retarded by the hour.

You have your normal unlocks and progression. Battlepacks just give you a chance to unlock stuff earlier than normal and some special things that are nothing but cosmetic.

They have a few special cammos and knife skins you can only get in them, but not all your unlocks will come from them

I believe you unlock a standard set of attachments from the guns nationality by using the gun. i.e. you unlock the american red dot sight for the Scar H, and the russian red dot sight can only be unlocked for it by battlepacks.
Forum signature? I dont know...

They Coyote sight is far superior to the one you unlock by playing with the actual weapon though. Not in stats but with the visual design it provides FAR BETTER overview.

Battlepacks are bullshit imo.

Battlepacks are lame because they enable EA to sell them as microtransactions. Just look at the difference between standard pre-order and deluxe (1 versus 3). EA will probably continue to sell them after release.

Its not really true. A lot of items are "Battlepack Only." As for those items being cosmetic only... thats not really the case either imo, though it could probably be argued.

See here, these 2 scopes may function the same, but I would say one offers a clear advantage over the other.

So I guess good luck getting that scope randomly in a battlepack, or hand over some money to buy them. I'm not against battlepacks for cosmetic items, but when it comes to a slow unlock system, speed boosts, non-cosmetic items, battlepacks for cash and slim jims... going too far.
