Looks like sony blocked manual setup . They only allow dynamic ip address . A static ip is more stable . But for some reason Bf4 plays better with a dynamic ip now. Some people must have abused the manual setup somehow

First of all I want to express my gratitude to DICE for continued support and development for BF4 and the Community. Very excited to play on high tick rate servers, however, so far my experience has been severe rubberbanding and lag filled. We (my squad and I) even lagged out completely a handful of times at the weekend and this was on 45hz tickrate servers. What was more puzzling is that they were on Large Conquest 64 player count. We all have good connections and I've never lagged out of a game before on BF4. Just my 2 penceworth of feedback =)

I'm with deeeicer on this. First: thanks for the continued support.
I'm in the UK, connecting to European servers, PS4 conquest large 64 player, and seeing the 45hz indicator and popup on the deploy screen.
Rubber banding aplenty on Friday night - something that rarely happened to me before. Also been getting a terminal dose of assault rifle in one frame far more than I've ever noticed before.
By Sunday night I was still seeing the 45hz symbol but the rubber banding was mostly gone.

Perhaps the lag was my connection - but this doesn't quite seem to line up with the description of what was rolled out.

Used to love to play 32 count servers because they seemed to run smoother. Guess the developers couldn't have that, and jumped the frame rate until the rubberbanding has broken the game on small servers.

yet they still have it at 45hz for 64 players which has made it impossible to play to due awful lag. plus when contacted about it they refuse to do anything about it.

So I'm on a hc server on xbox 1 and the 45 tick rate is set for it and we are all lagging I'm not one normally for complaining and I would like the 30 tick rate set for it. It's not just me it's everybody on the server it's the usaf official hardcore server and we would like this fixed as soon as possible so we can enjoy the game again.

Genuine question: is anyone from DICE reading this official feedback thread and able to comment on whether the 45hz tickrate has been applied to 64 player servers?
There's certainly a number of us here claiming that's what it looks like despite the announcement saying it won't be rolled out due to its undesirable impact. This isn't some client-specific netgraph / ping issue being reported so ought to be fairly straightforward to verify independently.

Ever since the 45HZ roll out game has been nothing but a LAG fest again!!!!!!

Can't you just leave it alone already!?

The high tickrate is definitely applied to 64 player servers and it's causing issues. Rubber banding and lag problems for me. It worked fine before the update.

Where are these 64 man CQL 45hz servers? I have never been able to find them. What I have found are 45hz servers running on CQL servers running with the 44 man CQL server glitch. Have yet to see 64 CQL at 45hz.

They are everywhere mmarkwell, but only if you play in East coast servers!

If your lucky you will see the Turbo symbol and 45 HZ logo before wasting your time getting stuck in another Crapfest brought on by DICE AGAIN!

I haven't seen one myself on ps4 but every single 44 person server has been 45 hz here in the US. Can't miss them

The 44 man CQL server happens when you switch a server from TDM to CQL while it is full. It glitches the server into a 44 man instead of 64 man CQL. The server never restarts so it remains on the 45hz tickrate is my guess.

i would like to nominate snivegaming on ps3 for his helpfulness to help new players and avoid conflicts and his loyalty to battlefield he has bf4 bfbc2 bfbc1 and he continues to love battlefield on a daily bases and plays though it is a real life battle please nominate

So the 44 man CQL servers were never intended? Explains why Dice was so heatitant to even mention them. I'm glad they never patched it - I actually prefer it to 64. So does this not happen on xb1 servers and that's why they seem to have 64 man 45hz CQL servers popping up currently while ps4 has 44 man?

I sent an note to EA Answers HQ and was pointed to this thread by EA_Tom. I don't know if it would be DICE or EA that is responsible for correcting the issue, but at least EA is aware this thread.

You may get an answer from tiggr quicker by asking him on twitter, I don't know.

As far as the 45hz on CQL, are these servers on official? And are they actually 64 players? Could it also just be a glitch or something. Not sure why the servers on XB1 would be 45hz and not PS4, when talking about 64 CQL servers.

Edit: after asking around the ps4/xb1 forums and friends, it seems the CQL servers are more than likely the 44 man glitched CQL server. Which makes sense because it takes a server being restarted to change its tickrate. If you start on CQL, it will be at 30hz. If you start a smaller game mode, let it fill and change to CQL, the sever will stay at 45hz and not switch to 30hz because the server never actually restarted.
