Edit: They have fixed this bug for the final game.
If I turn off Deferred Antialising in the graphic settings, the dust just disappears completely.
Here are some screenshots
My Hardware is:
Gpu: Radeon HD 5850
Cpu: Phenom X4 II 655
Monitors: 1920:1080 and 1280:1024
Just installed the newest Gpu-Drivers (13.10 - Beta) today.
The smoke wasn't visible before the update, so i thought the upgrade might fix it. It didn't, so I changed some video settings and found this issue.
hum... i turned off too but nothing ... ?
Intel Core i7 4770K @ 3.5Ghz Corsair H100i GTX) // MSI Z87 MPower MAX // 16Go (2x8) DDR3 G.Skill Sniper PC-14900 1866Mhz // SLi Gigabyte GTX970 G1.Gaming // SSD Kingston HyperX Fury 240GO (W10 x64) // WD Velociraptor 500Go 10.000 tr/min (Installations) // WD 2To (Stockage) // Razer Mamba // Corsair K70 FPS // Acer GD245HQ // Turtle Beach PX21// Akasa Venom 1000W 80+Gold //
I've seen a video on youtube of this too. Wish I could switch the dust cloud off :P

I'll have to try this. I noticed that the dust didn't exist on my machine running a 5870 and it did on my machine running SLI 680s and sure enough I do have deferred AA turned on with the 680s and off on the 5870
Holy shit the game looks beautiful without the dust!
Trying this now and I'll post my results!
I have a Nvidia 660 ti with BETA drivers and turning AA off doesn't affect the fog. It must be a Radeon thing. Shame... it would make sniping so much easier.

Add the 6870s to that list. In different modes of crossfire*

Confirming this also happens for me and my 6870 using the latest beta drivers from AMD.
To add to this, the fog still renders when I look in certain, odd directions, and when I do it causes a very notable increase in FPS.

Add another 5850, I posted about this yesterday but the thread stayed pretty quiet :3
Using 13.4 drivers, cbf updating to newer ones because these aren't too bad.
GTX 660 non TI...
Tried this earlier and it doesn't seem to work for me either..
Seems like an AMD thing too!
Using 6770. Same issue. Though happens only once the Skyscraper falls down.
