This guide worked for my brother and many of his clan M8's.
try it and see if it fixes your stuttering issues in game.

it only fixes stuttering, not CTD's.

I did this yesterday. I only got about 3 games in after I unparked my cores (i5 2500k.) But out of those 3 games I didn't crash once. Better than what i can say before hand. So seems to have worked but I'll need to get some more play time in to make sure :D

That doesn't mean there isn't a problem with the game. Funny how out of the hundreds of other games I've played on my pc, this is the first one i've came across where I had to go into my registry files and change something. you SHOULN'T have to do that on a game. The game is still broken if you are forced to do that.

Back in PlanetSide 2 lots were suggesting to unpark cores when PS2 was only using 1-2 cores out of 4-6-8 cores people had, it was mostly a placebo effect, SOE since then improved the multi-threading on PS2.

This does work. It gave me 15 to 20 more fps. ALSO, I decided to try WIndows 8.1. That SERIOUSLY made a difference. NO you don't have to upgrade blah blah I'm and Windows 7 freak. I get that. Windows 8.1 unparks the cores by default and optimizes a ton of other stuff. I had Win 8 on my recent new build. (Was always a Win 7 fan but said why not try it because I need to learn it for my job). Win 8 (unparked cores) to Win 8.1 on Parcel Storm map, I saw 40 to 50 fps increase on my rig (still have RAM leak which that's the game's fault). This is all determined on your hardware but users with rigs similar to mine, this is how much difference we are seeing. Keep in mind I did a complete clean install of every possible driver and even origin and game files. Good luck with your rigs!

Yeah, reboot your PC. I just did this unparking and it's pretty awesome, something like 10 extra FPS and no stutter! ;)

It does work. If you are scared ( which is understandable) use this app. But before you do, save a copy of the files. With this app, you can also park the cores back. FYI, Windows 8.1 has cores unparked by default.

Also, after I parked my cores on Win 8....I too got 15 more fps. I then went to Win 8.1 and got 40 to 50 more fps which is CRAZY!

How to unpark cores without changing any registry values, easily reversible etc etc. Your cores should automatically be unparked when the computational requirement rises as with playing BF4. Not sure it makes any real difference to game play or FPS as all logical cores should be used anyway. Parking is simply a power saving feature.

Windows 7 adds support for several new CPU features that reduce energy use, which sounds great - except some say they compromise performance. Worse, all these settings are hidden by default, however that can be changed.

Enter the following two commands at the command prompt (run as administrator) and press enter after each:
powercfg -attributes SUB_PROCESSOR 0cc5b647-c1df-4637-891a-dec35c318583 -ATTRIB_HIDE and
powercfg -attributes SUB_PROCESSOR ea062031-0e34-4ff1-9b6d-eb1059334028 -ATTRIB_HIDE

The above makes available some previously hidden processor power management options.
If you don't do above the Processor power management options will not be displayed even in the advanced power management options.

Now go to 'Control Panel | Power options | Change plan settings (for your current plan) | Change advanced power settings | Processor power management'. You'll see two new options: 'Processor performance core parking min cores' and 'Processor performance core parking max cores'.

These settings related to Core Parking, a feature that allows your CPU to turn off some cores to save power when your system load is minimal. While generally a good thing, some say it causes problems, and recommend turning parking off. Set 'Min cores' and 'Max cores' to 100 and reboot your machine to make this happen.

It can easily be reversed in your power management control panel tool without having to delve into the registry.

Most of the stutterring, rubber banding, sound issues are due to a fault in the game code/netcode and only DICE can sort that out.

Will this cause any negative effect to the PC? I see it about power setting in regedit.
